Triple-A using the juiced ball sure is nice, but you wonder how real these numbers are.

Both of Bradley’s tanks were torched to the opposite field.

With as bad as this offense and Bauers who would most likely be replaced by him have been, I think you have to at least take a look for 3-4 weeks.

He really smoked that grand slam, didn’t see the other one.

Pretty much a mirror image of the first one. He really knows how to elevate to the left-center gap.

The first homer was a mirror image.

He's really figured out elevation to the opposite field.

The clusters are crazy with how often he's hitting that LCF gap.
 
That is a pretty absurd spray chart for a lefty
 
Barnes had a few at bats last season when called up and hit the ball okay for not getting consistent at bats. Is it possible he gets another opportunity this year?

If we punt/sell, he likely will get some ABs at the end of the season on this roster. If we are in contention, probably not (at least with us). Reason why I say that is the fact we will keep Martin if we are in contention and trade him if we aren't and he could get that last spot on the roster to finish the season, though we could still possibly see Johnson on the September roster. He is out of major league options, otherwise I think he would be on the 40 man roster since he has always been a solid 4th OF/AAAA style of player and would be good to call up in series with a ton of lefties on the roster.

Side note: I still feel a player should be allowed to add a minor league option in their deal in a way for guys like Barnes, who would get some MLB time every year if he had a clause for it in his deal. The player would have to agree of course, but I am curious if a player can negotiate one into their deal if they wish too.

Without a 40-man spot, its highly unlikely.

Injuries could change that, but it would take a few of them.

Naquin is close, Daniel Johnson is now in AAA. Too many guys ahead of him at this point.
 
Nolan Jones with his 4th HR in his last 9 games, also walked 3 times to give him 40 in 48 games
 
Any chance we see Johnson this year?

Having to wait until halfway through next season to see him at the major league level doesn't feel right.

Unless we punt the season, I really do not believe we will see him this season. If we trade/cut Martin around the trade deadline cause we are punting then yeah Johnson or Barnes will be added to the 40 man roster to finish the season with us. So it really depends on injuries and how we are ranking in July, but I think in due time he has earned the right to be added to the 40 man this off season and break camp with the roster next season when Martin walks as a free agent.
 
Since it is two months into the season would someone be willing to post a list of the top 7 to 10 prospects in the organization and what their realistic long term expectations are for making the majors and if they are expected to be every day players. Thanks in advance!!!
