2019 NBA Draft Lottery

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I really don't care how many rebounds a player is getting if that isn't his role on the team...

If a PG is getting 10 rebounds per game, it's because they are hunting for rebounds and teammates are deferring

I want Garland if he is there. Don’t care about positional need right now, we just need talent. I’d say Culver is next on my list.

Garland would likely be the 2nd pick if he never got hurt. Hes ultra talented. Had turnover issues and little assists during his 5 game run with Vandy but his ability to score is special.

If we are taking someone at 5 Garland needs to be the guy.

He is a better player than Hunter and Culver.

Great shooter, above average handles, and ability to stop and start on a dime.

Based on the 4 games he played against poor competition?

Wow, that’s a very damning thing to say. I assume you must have some firsthand evidence to make such a claim?

Reddish is a very talented kid, who possesses ideal size, skill, & athleticism for an NBA wing. He can do much more than he was allowed to show at Duke.
yeah i do, pretty much all his college games

Touche' regarding the limited example in college, and he is not going to be a good defender but there is no chance he isn't a top 3 offensive talent with his elite scoring ability so there is more than enough reason to think he could be the pick even if only as a trade chip for better fitting pieces.

I just don’t see anything that indicates he’s going to be a better NBA player than Culver.

A two-way wing with the ability to facilitate and create for others? Those don’t grow on trees even if his shot is still a work in progress.

That is true as well. I just think it's a possibility with Garlands absolutely lethal shooting ability ,handles, finishing touch and upside as a distributor that he will be gone at 4 anyway but the Cavs would probably take him if he fell to 5 especially if that meant Culver went 4th

I don't think it's even close. If Garland played all season he would be taken at#2. Kyrie only played a handful of college games, but it was at high profile Duke.
The Pelicans have put the#4 pick up for bid. I would consider trading Sexton for that pick. Because Garland is going to be better. Then we still have the 5th pick to use.

Or if Garland played all season some of his percentages may have come back down to Earth.

No way to know.

Don’t be so sure. Sexton is a grinder and no
one is gonna outwork him. He showed tremendous growth in his first year and I look for that to only continue.

His assists numbers are low but looks better from highlights then the stats show. So crafty at getting open looks. floats like a butterfly stings like a bee.

I'm curious to see how he would fit with Sexton and who would be the #1 scoring option.
With a team of :

Garland
Sexton
Cedi
nance/ 26?
Love

or

Sexton
Culvar
Cedi
Nance
love

Would be an interesting core. Damn, I can't wait for this draft!
