The last several signings have addressed some depth issues (LB, TE, CB, OL) this team had but there's still some work to be done...
Right now, unless something changes, it looks like the offense will be pretty stable going into the draft... You could see a vet RB signed if they move Duke or another OL brought in to compete, especially with some of the talent still out there (former GB guys TJ Lang and Josh Sitton), but otherwise it looks like a lot of the heavy lifting has been done...
They do have a need for a blocking h-back/TE but with the lack of talent in free agency at that spot, I'd see them addressing it through the draft...
Defense is where I could see them making a couple more rotational type additions...
Right now you could argue they have three starting spots open to right player--
SAM: Genard Avery might be penciled in as starter but he'd be better off being a rotational piece and further sharpening his OLB skills... Even though they've signed Ray-Ray Armstrong and Adarius Taylor for depth, there still is not much behind Schobert and Kirksey...
FAs: Zach Brown, Clay Matthews, Mark Barron, Brandon Marshall, Vincent Rey, Manti Te'o
#2 CB: Terrance Mitchell played well opposite of Ward but you can never have too many corners and pushing Mitchell to primary boundary backup wouldn't be a bad idea...
FAs: Darqueze Dennard, Morris Claiborne, Rashaan Melvin, Sam Shields, Bashaud Breeland
SS: Derrick Kindred has played well at times throughout his Browns tenure, and can be a solid starter, but the Browns will miss some of Peppers' versatility and speed on the backend... In addition to that, these are the backups behind Randall and Kindred: Tigie Sankoh and Jermaine Whitehead...
FAs: Jonathan Cyprien, Jahleel Adae, Eric Berry (FS), Tre Boston (FS), Mike Mitchell, George Iloka, Kurt Coleman
I could even see them adding another DT for competition with the two backup spots open for competition between Trevon Coley, Carl Davis, Devaroe Lawrence and Brian Price...
