Actually I would be surprised if Wade goes round 1. Guess it all comes down to teams drafting in the bottom half of the round, their needs & who else is available. I do think his name gets called before the end of the 2nd night..Maybe this is bias but Wade should go because I don't think he's gonna look that good next year w/o Okudah on the other side. I...probably wouldn't pick him in the first round if I were a GM. But he's gonna be.

I think Wade will be picked around 20-25 and have an immediate impact as a rookie.
I know it’s been stated within Buckeye circles, but guy is one of more underrated OSU players I can recall. His versatility is what makes him so intriguing. He is clearly a stud in the slot (which makes him valuable as a rookie because from Day 1 he will succeed in the slot in NFL until asked to move outside) but he gives the defense a lot of flexibility.
It’s no coincidence Clemson scores zero points when Wade was available and 29 when he was off. All of poor stretches defensively, coincided with Wade being on sideline. He’s really unique and an excellent player.
I agree with the sentiment coming back would be a risk....putting him out the outside in a roll like Okudah could actually hurt his stock if he struggles defending #1 WR’s.
I’d love to see him come back though, although not counting on it. I think his injury Freshman season in which he spent year rehabbing and then getting banged up late this year factor in as well. He knows injuries can derail plans....
Michigan threw for 250 in a half with him on the sidelines.Wade's absence clearly hurt us toward the end of the season against a B1G opponent as well. Was it the Penn State comeback attempt? Regardless, dunno how he'll be in the NFL but he was obviously huge for us.
He played inside...I'm not saying he isn't better than his back-up, or even a solid college player.
But he was playing opposite the very best CB in college football.
It's just kinda hard to project corners who regularly get to defend the other teams 2nd best Wide-outs, most of whom won't be NFL players.
