2021 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

I dunno.... trying to be unbiased.... seems like a really bad move. Don't these college coaches realize you can't recruit, and you can't treat grown ass millionaire men like you do college kids? I don't see him flaming out as bad as Urban, but as a Packer fan, I'm ok with this.

As a Buckeye fan, I kinda wanted him to stay at ttun... I think OSU gets a bit of revenge this year and it won't be as sweet if Harbug isn't there.
Betcha Mich St fans wanted him to stay too. Bummer.

You do realize Harbaugh went to 3 straight NFC Championships (and as many Super Bowls as Q-Aaron Rodgers) as an NFL coach already, right?

And that his players in San Fran, for the most part, absolutely loved him?

Guy has already had success in the NFL...and as a Packer fan, you should remember how much his San Fran teams owned you in the playoffs.

He's not the same, imo, and the NFL has changed too. I'm a bigger OSU fan than GB... I wanted him to stay at Mich.
That said, if GB is looking for a new QB... the division is up in the air anyway.

Meh.

If his rumored coaching staff has any truth to it, I don't care if he is "not the same". That group will produce.

Guy can coach, Michigan is worse off because of this move. Anyone saying anything different is fooling themselves. There is no Ryan Day walking through that door for Michigan.
 
Seems like a stupid idea to signal to your staff the you're jumping ship so they go find jobs elsewhere, but then you decide to stay after not getting a new job.

Didn't the dolphins want him badly but Ross didn't want to be the alum that took him away?
 
This is absolutely glorious.

Harbaugh accidentally found success for a year and then proceeded to drop a nuke on the entire operation. This is almost too good to be true.

I really hope Day keeps 8 to 12 pages of the playbook under wraps all season & then opens up and utilizes those pages vs TTUN...

Go for 70 plus points in the 1st half alone....
That would be beautiful....
