Here are the latest odds for season wins from PFF-- They rank Baltimore and Cleveland neck and neck.

Baltimore11(+100|-120)47.80%52.20%10.9
Cleveland10.5(-120|+100)52.20%47.80%10.7
Pittsburgh8.5(+115|-135)44.70%55.30%8.1
Cincinnati6.5(+110|-130)45.70%54.30%6.2

12-5 seems about right.. I think this team is deep and talented and I think they go 5-1 in the division with a loss to Baltimore.

After wandering in the wastelands for decades, last year seems like a dream. I just don't know if l can really believe yet, that the Browns are seriously a SB contending team. It's difficult to displace 30+ years of negative conditioning.

It's hard not picking 12-5, but I'm gonna go 11-6. Each loss is winnable, and I don't remember ever feeling this way about the Browns in my lifetime.

I think this is pretty much how it's all going down. Adjust accordingly.

@Chiefs - W - I'll be there and will run on the field and nut punch Mahomes if I have to.
Texans - W - Browns rest their starters
Bears - W - Bears switch to Fields in time for the Browns to crush them.
@Vikings - W - Tough game but Stefanski's inside view into the operation here gives the Browns the nod.
@Chargers - W - Home game away from home.
Cardinals - W - Another tough one, but the Browns at home run it down their throat.
Broncos - W - Defensive battle. Our QB edge comes through.
Steelers - W - Steelers still looking for their first win stay winless.
@Bengals - W - High scoring affair.
@Patriots - W - Bill cheats his way to a close game.
Lions - W - Browns rest their starters most of this game.
@Ravens - L - Dolphins drink their champagne. The Ravens get lucky.
Ravens - W - Lamar gets diarrhea again but doesn't come back.
Raiders - W - Jon Gruden is fired after the Browns embarrass them.
@Packers - L - Worst Christmas ever
@Steelers - W - Browns beat basement dwelling Steelers and push them to 0-16
Bengals - W - Browns rest their starters after clinching the top seed in the AFC. Still beat the Bengals.

It's hard not picking 12-5, but I'm gonna go 11-6. Each loss is winnable, and I don't remember ever feeling this way about the Browns in my lifetime.

This is close to where I'm at, except I think Minny is such a mess that I think we catch them and I think Belichick takes advantage of our defense being as young and new as it is. We're kinda lucky that we're not going up against a lot of high powered offenses early in the season because I think it's going to a serious work in progress to get that side to where we want them. Ideally around week 12-13 we have enough reps and familiarity that we can see them rounding into form and maybe even snatch a game from GB, but all in all I think there's going to be a lot of volatility on defense over the first 10+ weeks.

JOK has 4 sacks……

In the first quarter against the Chiefs. He goes on to win Rookie DPOY, DPOY, MVP and is inducted into the HOF all by week 4. His number is then retired in week 10, a statue is built by week 12.

Record: 12-5. Losses to the Chiefs, Cardinals, Ravens once, Packers, and one of Chargers/Steelers/Patriots/Raiders.

Individual stats: Baker will have his first 4000 yard, 30 TD, <10 INT season. The Browns will field at least two 1000 yard receivers... and one of them will be Donovan Peoples-Jones. Nick Chubb will have 1200 yards on the ground, and Kareem Hunt will again top 1000 yards from scrimmage.

End of the year awards:
NFL DPOY - Myles Garrett, who will finish top five in the league in sacks and will lead the league in forced fumbles.
NFL DROY - JOK, who will lead all rookies in TFLs and will be among the top ten in sacks.
Browns OROY - Demetric Felton, who shows that his great preseason is no fluke.
Browns OPOY - Baker Mayfield, who turns in his finest individual season as a pro and sets himself up for a massive extension.

Pro Bowlers:
Baker Mayfield
Nick Chubb
Joel Bitonio
Wyatt Teller
Myles Garrett
Denzel Ward
John Johnson III

Final game: AFC Championship Game, vs. Chiefs... which serves as both a revenge game for their Week 1 loss and a tune-up to face Green Bay in the Super Bowl, their actual final game of the year.

Who will they beat to get there?: Ravens (wild card round), Colts (divisional round), Chiefs (AFC Championship Game)

That's hilarious because the very last thing I was trying to do was decide between the Vikings and Patriots which might be a loss.

They predict that the Browns lose to the Chiefs, Chargers, @Ravens, Packers, finish 13-4. All teams have the odds against them making the Superbowl, but if the browns don't make it, a sweep of the Steelers would be a pretty good consolation.

Houston has the worst roster in all of football. The talent gap here is vast. Any questions?
  • Week 2 prediction: Browns 48, Texans 3

My wife and in-laws are Texans fans. I keep telling them there's still room on the bandwagon ;)
