2022 Fantasy Football

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Here's a holiday six-pack! What I'm probably doing is hidden in the spoiler tags so you can answer without bias if you'd like.

5. Pick two QB's:
  • Geno Smith
  • Tom Brady
  • Daniel Jones
  • Derek Carr
  • Gardner Minshew

[/ISPOILER]
Just saw a stat that only 5 of Daniel Jones' last 90 passes went over 20 yards. That can't be good for fantasy stats.

Looking at the weather and debating benching Diggs. I did this last week, and it was the right call. Currently, I have the following starting:

Tyreek Hill
Amon Ra St. Brown
Stefan Diggs

Would you bench Diggs for either Keenan Allen or AJ Brown? .5 PPR, .5 First downs.

I have Josh Allen as well, but his legs keep him a factor regardless of weather. Keenan and AJB both play in nice weather this weekend.

If I were in your shoes, I'd sit Amon Ra and start Diggs/Hill/AJB.

I'm not positive that's the best call, but I know that if I lost that way I'd feel better about it than if I lost by not starting my best players.

Non PPR, streaming the Browns D/ST this week.

Wish me luck… :chuckle:

Of course my team gets the 1 seed then proceeds to have its worst week out of the playoff bye. Of course!

Playing for 3rd next week. Whatever.

Does Derrick Henry play tomorrow?

In a similar situation, the Titans sat him. This game, evidently, does not matter in the standings for the Titans. The showdown with the Jaguars next week does.

Here's my final roster in my Guillotine. .5 PPR. 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1Flex

Of course, there are a lot of tough decisions, especially with my WR. Who would you start?

QB:
Josh Allen
Patrick Mahomes
Joe Burrow
Justin Fields

RB:
Christian McCaffery
Austin Ekeler
Saquon Barkley

Dalvin Cook

WR:
Tyreek Hill - Tua out. Is he QB proof?
Ja'Marr Chase - Can explode any given week with high floor.
AJ Brown - QB proof and averaging the most points per week since week 12 out of this group.
Amon Ra St. Brown - kills it at home. Target monster.
CeeDee Lamb - on fire and against a poor TEN D that might be resting up for week 18 showdown with JAX
Stefon Diggs - 3 poor weeks in a row but big game coming up.
Keenan Allen - target monster

TE:
Travis Kelce

I'm going against the Josh Allen owner.

As it is now, I will be nursing a small lead after these 4pm games (20 pts as of typing this with the 4Q left). He will have Allen and the Cincy Kicker going against my Tee Higgins and one of Andrews/Knox at TE.

If I still have that lead, would you play Knox over Andrews to negate a possible Allen TD? PPR

I would... just because I'm not positive Andrews is even the better play anymore.

How are leagues handling this BUF/CIN game not being played?

You drag it out until it's played.

If the game never gets played, and the Title game was in the balance, I think the two teams should agree to split the pot--or come up with their own creative tiebreaker, like a playoff fantasy challenge.

If the Title game wasn't really in the balance, just proceed as normal.

I'm the commish of my league and both 1/2 & 3/4 matchups were in play and hinging on MNF. If the game doesn't get played, I told the teams to come up with an equitable solution on their own. If not, they will split the money evenly in their respective matchups.

One wants to send all prize money to Hamlin's charity.

Other than splitting, I think the only fair thing to do would be to manually award points for each player's weekly average and let the dust settle.

How are leagues handling this BUF/CIN game not being played?

I talked to both individuals and the one leading didn't want to split it, he said he rather lose than split it. He suggested to just sub the players stats for week 18 stats but I thought there is a chance that Buffalo or Cincy could rest players and I didn't want to deal with subs of other players. I just changed the ESPN playoff bracket for a week 18 and put the two teams into the championship. They will just play week 18 as the championship. I figure it will put them both at a disadvantage but both will have to adjust. They will have to be on top of who plays and won't since teams might rest players based on outcomes of earlier games.

My league is taking Buff/Cincy stats for week 18. So we were basically dead even before the cancelled game, he has Chase I have singletary and diggs. Really hoping my guys show up week 18….
