2022 Season - Week #2 - Jets @ Browns - 9/18 1pm CBS

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
These next three should be must win games if we want to have a solid chance at a 7-4 or 6-5 record when Watson comes back.

9-win teams got into the playoffs in both conferences last year.

If the Browns are 5-6 when Watson returns, they'll at least have a chance.

I didn’t even know Chris Hubbard was on the roster

Feels like a heavy trap game, expectation re-setter.

Last game vs. the Jets our WRs were Marvin Hall, Ja’Marcus Bradley and Derrick Willies thanks to covid protocols. I think there is still a resentment for the circumstances around that game.

Sure, but this is also an entirely different Jets team.

They lack QB play and OL depth, but they’re in a good spot in their rebuilt and shouldn’t be counted on as a cakewalk.

No they lack talent at QB and OL.

Their OL was TERRIBLE against the Ravens. And I don't see any way they play better against our defensive line.

They have talent at WR. They have talent on all levels of their defense, but they still need another year or two in their rebuild.

This was the point I was attempting to make, albeit poorly.

If the OL stayed healthy, and Zach Wilson could play league average, they would have been competitive, even with a losing record.

Now Wilson will return and get pummeled.

Just realized I’ll be at the Guards game during the Browns. Driving up from Cbus tomorrow.

Might have to pop it on my phone or something and watch the pain

I think this is a bounce back game for the passing game… I think Brissett has a much more efficient game and hits some throws he missed last week that really open up the game. I expect a couple TE screens as well to get Njoku the ball early. Browns by 10+ in the home opener. Jets suck

I'd be shocked.

Sauce, DJ Reed and Bryce Hall are an incredible trio of corners, and even though they lost Marcus Maye, their safeties aren't bad either.

I think we're going to see another conservative offensive game plan. Pound the rock and work the middle of the field with the running backs, tight ends, and easy throws into zone coverage. It will be frustrating, but it should result in a close Browns victory.
