I get why people are fearful of Stroud (probably a bunch of box score watchers, but he definitely is talented on the field). He makes his reads, he's elusive in the pocket, has a good arm and accuracy. He's gonna be good for years to come.
But... the Texans are kind of a bad team. Not much on defense, not much on offense. Stroud is playing extremely well but the team clearly wasn't expecting it and haven't surrounded him with talent. NEXT year is when they might be truly scary depending on if the owner is willing to spend money. I see Flacco/Stefanski having a good game against their defense yet again.
Stroud is still a rookie, but even when looking at the film, he will shred us if he has time in the pocket. If we're getting pressure on him he's not going to have a good game. We've got sticky corners... I just don't think he's going to blow us away.
I think we win by 7-10 points. 27-17, 27-20, something like that.
