I have no idea, does he have anything left in the tank?
The Vikings let him walk and then had an opportunity to share carries with a guy coming off a torn ACL. He met that challenge with a 3.2 YPC average. I’m not saying he’s cooked, but I don’t see a reason to take carries away from Ford, Hunt, or Strong.

As bad as our ability to run the football has been, the jet's oline is on another level of bad. Ford hasnt been exactly lighting the world on fire.
Cook could look totally different behind our oline.

get on the phone right now AB....

Browns could definitely use a RB1 level talent right now

Is Dalvin Cook a #1 RB level talent right now?

Yea I'd be shocked if that happened. Strong and Ford have looked better as of late, too.

That Jets line was/is also a bag of smashed assholes. I think Breece Hall is just a gifted enough runner that it didn't matter.

Not advocating for the Browns to bring him in one way or the other (don't really care either way), but I'm not going to hold it against someone for having offensive struggles while playing for the Jets.

FWIW... barring an injury on Sunday, don't really see why the Browns would bring him in at this point, rather than roll the dice with who they have already.

If you would have told me before the season started the browns would start 5 different qbs, Id be expecting to draft caleb williams… yet here we are.

I can’t pretend to know what his agent is thinking, but if the Browns can have him in, we should. If Strong and Ford are not rolling the dice, they are mediocre at best.

This is a buy low moment for a player who can catch balls out of the back field and at least has a chance to make a playoff impact. I am certainly not opposed.

If you would have told me that preseason I would have known Watson is the week 1 starter next year

There’s just 0 way out of that contract. Next 2 years it’s Watson pretty much no matter what. Even IF the Browns didn’t want it to be

It was a metaphor that the browns would be drafting #1 overall with the worst record in the league.

Yeah, I'm indifferent. I won't pound the table for the guy but I'm certainly not opposed to them bringing him on for a playoff run. Plus, there's the obvious familiarity with Stefanski and the system he runs.

I’d rather just increase Pierre Strong’s burn. I get it was the Jets but he doesn’t look like he brings anything anyone on the current roster doesn’t except literally a name.

I won’t complain if they pursue or land him, literally just my opinion and nothing else.

I think it might be more crucial to land any (potential) defensive buyout that would help with injuries. No idea if such a thing will exist.
