There was NO WAY Cavs wanted to win that game with the idea that they may have to face the 76ers in the first round. I'm supportive of the move too if you want to read back through this thread. Pro B-Ball is so matchup oriented it isn't funny. We couldn't beat the Sixers without Embiid. I dare you to make a case that we would with him in the lineup now. Cavs played it smart. I think the Cavs could give Boston some problems. Especially if Boston has to play the Heat in the first round. That Miami Voodoo that Spo and Butler have going might be in Boston's head. LET'S GO CAVS!!

Come on its so obvious we tanked but I guess I feel the need to say go Cavs to offset the wrath . I understand man. These faithful are a ruthless bunch

It's clear this organization is desperate for a series win. They aren't looking big picture playoffs. If they advance into round 2, they can try to sell us on progress.

I'm not sure Indiana is an easier match up. We have not been defending well and their pace could account for some shootouts which is not what we want to be in. They also have several key players who have playoff experience.

Orlando is the easiest match up you could ask for in my opinion. They have no playoff experience. They make the least amount of 3s per game in the NBA. They don't have offensive-minded bigs to stretch the floor.

If you can't beat the Magic, you might as well make sweeping changes this summer, because this team is going nowhere.

I'm in no hurry to get to the offseason. Cavs are in playoffs and you have to admit there's going to be some fun series in the East here. The offseason will be here after the fun. I live in the now. You can play GM later.

Still strange that the Cavs didn’t try harder to avoid Boston in the second round.

That said, I expect the Cavs’ first-round playoff series to look a lot like last year’s.
