2023-24 Season | Game #34 | Wizards @ Cavs | Jan. 3, 2024 | 7:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Don't post this. You are right on stuff too often and I don't want this to happen
I agree. Watch porter get thrown in a deal
GMs around the league has to see his game. I hope Koby does. We will need him when DM leaves or gets traded

The silver lining CPJ take would be that we are trying to keep his pending contract and conversion to the full time roster a bit more team friendly.

I’m trying
It is possible!

I would not mind being wrong about the CPJ situation.

Glad the Cavs put up 140 and the game was not close.
that's what's supposed to happen.
Donovan basically got to sit when everyone else started shooting.
That's what we need to see.

JA double double. Strus getting his shooting groove back. Merrill continuing to impress.
Chef Caris going off in a way you had to actually WATCH to believe.
And another feather in the Okoro > Deni ASS-vija agenda. That dude is Assfingers 2.0. Give me Okoro.
Speaking of Okoro, LOL @ him doing his Julus Randle impression tonight.

I still think Damian Jones should be treated as another PF. Like I get why Niang would get the nod. But if he continues to spend too many minutes being ass, let's give Jones a look. Luckily Niang denounced and rejected assdom at the right time.

Let's whoop their asses again. Because some real BS is on the horizon schedule wise.

Damian is very athletic, moves like a 3, but is not particularly good at basketball.. He might start for the Wizards tho..

Niang is not athletic at all, but plays an aggressive bold game. He is easily the second most physical player, behind Tristan. and he can get hot from range. but he is a defensive liability.. I see him as the current weak link. His minutes will shrink with Ecans return, but his physical role will not be replaced by anyone currently on the roster..

I am wondering what thier thinking is with iMobley. I don't think has gas played an NBA minute this year.. Your up 40 points, and playing Jones.. Seems like a good time to try him..

Gotta love 37 assists and 18 offensive rebounds, even if it came against the worst rebounding team in the Association.

I don't like the Wizards getting 12 offensive boards when they are last in offensive rebounding percentage.

With a minute and a half remaining in the first half the Cavs were up 56-53 and I was getting worried. But the Cavs outscored them 88-48 the rest of the way.

When Strus is hot from the 3-point line we're a very tough team to defend. LeVert was feeling it with 18 shots in 23 minutes. He scored 21 points, dished out 5 assists, and was a +22. He's locked in right now.

That bench unit of Merrill, LeVert, and Niang was lethal. They were all between +22 and +27 in 23-29 minutes and combined for 47 points, 18 rebounds, and 12 assists. I noticed JBB brought them in all together in the first quarter. I think he likes that trio on floor together. LeVert takes it to the hole and the other two launch from the perimeter. Complementary skill sets.

I can see why Washington is 6-27. None of their starters could start for us and their bench is horrendus. They need to trade Kuzma and tear it down and start over.

Mike Muscala? Isn't he the worst version of what this team needs?

Merrill terrifies defenses. You leave him open and he can shoot 50% from three.

I remember Steve Kerr coming into the fourth quarter of a tight game in the WCF and hitting four quicks threes while Duncan and Robinson were resting. Guys like that are B-52s that can bomb you out of the game in a hurry.

Ironic that you mention LeVert, Merrill and Niang the same day our last lethal CAVALANCHE bench trio of Ricky, Love and Cedi left our roster. We need a great scoring and defending bench to offset teams like the Sixers and Bucks who rely on one guy and are vulnerable when he leaves the floor.

I also like our roster flexibility. If we want scoring we can put shooters out there with Allen and Mitchell or Garland. If we want defense then bring in Mobley Okoro and or Wade in place of shooters.

Going 11-12 deep also means we can adjust to matchup issues somewhat.

I really want to see Merrill attempt a step back three

Muscala is better than Jones, but not by much..

He attempts 5x as many 3s per 36. That's the only reason you would want him. Rebounding is the same essentially.

I am just thinking we could use a stretch 5 for Mobley and he is probably the very cheapest one who has some volume. Olynyk is the other one that I think is gettable, but he cannot play in Cleveland.
