Today felt like a solid team win. Dont think we had any major stand out games .. maybe Caris? Overall a strong win against one of the weakest teams in recent memory. An expected win, but good to see we put them away this hard.

Does Ty Jerome have the worst sprained ankle of all time?
34 games and counting ; has been out since October 27th. Jerome moved from a walking boot to a hard cast in the first week of December to immobilize his ankle after it wasn't responding to rest and rehab. There was optimism that he would rise to individual workouts in the weeks to follow, but there have been no signs of the 26-year-old ramping up his activity yet. (Per CBS Sports and Rotowire).

While I didn’t catch a glimpse of his leg, I detected a noticeable limp when he walked. I’d guess that DG will be back before him and it will be a photo finish between Evan‘s return and Ty’s. Pretty unbelievable considering I can‘t even recall the injury in-game

Awesome defensive performance as the Cavs held the Wizards to 26 points under their scoring average. Three of the Wizards' starters didn't even score in double digits, including Kyle Kuzma, who averages 23 ppg. Their entire starting lineup only scored 44 points.

LeVert had 11 assists in only 27 minutes. His previous season high was 8. How long has it been since the last time a Cavalier came off the bench to dish out 11 or more assists? Maybe Delly?

Merrill didn't have his best shooting day, but he drew two charges. He could be our next Kevin Love - a really clean-cut white guy who hits 3's and draws charges. Now if he could only rebound.

Porter had a line of 7/4/4 in just 12 minutes. A little of everything.

Niang actually hit a couple of 3's from the side. He was down to 22% on those after making 52% last year. Maybe he's fixed the flaw. He also had nine boards, which has to be a season high. Speaking of boards, the Cavs crushed the Wizards on the glass again tonight by a 52-31 count. The Wizards rebuild has to start with getting better rebounders. You have no chance when you get outrebounded by 47 in two games. It's like nothing else matters.

The Cavs had 37 assists and only 8 turnovers. That's crazy good.

Well, mission accomplished. A 39-point and 24-point win against one of the league's worst teams. Next up - San Antone.

Porter should be backup pg and Merrill should be in rotation, every game I feel i need to say it , very very impressed with those two. Make a consolidation trade for a decent big wing and these two can step in and it fixes our roster fit imo.
I'd also look at getting McDaniels from Raptors as a very cheap end of rotation back up wing

I wouldnt like it if we went out looking for a back up pg to replace Rubio when we have Porter and have bigger needs elsewhere
