2023-24 Season| Game #50 | Cavs @ Nets | February 8, 2024 | 7:30 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So I won't be as impressed with a road win at Brooklyn given the trades....

But it would still be back-to-back road wins, which is a great accomplishment any time, any year, any team.

Woe. So tonight, we face Bridges, Cam Thomas, Claxton, Simmons, and....who?
Looking at their updated depth chart:

PG Simmons
SG Cam Thomas
SF Mikal Bridges
PF Trendon Watford
C Nic Claxton

Bench: F Jalen Wilson (late 2nd round pick this year), PG Dennis Smith Jr (7.3 ppg), F Noah Clowney (#21 pick in this year's draft who has played in four games), F Harry Giles III (16 games, 5.1 minutes per game).

I can see their starters putting up a battle, especially if Thomas gets in a groove, but that bench is scary. The starters will have to play 42 minutes each for Brooklyn to have a chance, but Simmons will be playing only his fourth game and has been limited to 20 minutes.

Harry Giles is still around?? Whoa I thought he washed out 5 years ago

Take away Mitchell and Mobley and the Cavs probably lose last night as the rest of the team had negative performances across the board outside Okoro who's contribution was too small to matter.

feels like energy is running down while Garland tries to find his shot. Please find it.

Or, and hear me out....The Cavs had an off day and our talent led us to a road win when this would of been a loss in the recent past.

One game is not a trend. One game where we won because of our 2 best players carried us to a victory. (arguable with Allen and Garland if they are better than Mobley)

Between us being on the 2nd of a road back to back (and not playing very well in #1) and the Nets being in disarray with the trades, I have no idea what to make of this game. We could lose an ugly one or win by 30 and neither would surprise me.

Ok so Dayron Sharpe still out as well. They are just so thin on the inside. Need Mobley and Allen to dominate and then work inside out for open 3P

Even better would be attacking Claaxfon nonstop because if he’s in foul trouble they have moribund behind him
