Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So Merrill = Curry.

Public Service Announcement: Full moon today and they’re out early. I’d advise everyone to shelter in place.
You know what I mean, so dont act like I compared Currys full skill level to SM's. Curry has many more skills than a 3pt shooter but the idea still stands. You have one of the best if not the best off the bench 3pt shooter in the league, put him in the best position to suceed, that is not being done

Looks like mitchell is out with no "letemknow" tweet thus far. Will JBB:

-Give Merrill 20+ minutes?
-Have a quick hook for levert and Niang if they aren't doing what we need them to do
-Allow Porter consitent minutes as backup PG

If he does 2 of these things, they win.
Lol

If he was one of the best three point shooters off the bench in the league then he wouldn’t need the coach to design ten plays for him to get shots.

Hope it’s a good, high-proof, bourbon
Knob Hill.

This morning I came to peace with our two losses. This wild inconsistency is exactly what you'd expect from a young team. You only succeed through failure and learning what you MUST do to win. You cannot make mistakes. You cannot take bad shots. You cannot lapse on defense.

I expect our guys to be more motivated on defense and on offense. Certain passes and certain shots you cannot do in close games.

I'd rather have them learn the lessons now than in the playoffs.

I'm still confused about how JBB is the same guy who sidelined KLove but then is totally cool with Niang.

Teams now understand Merrill is a one-trick pony and they're taking away his 3-point shot or at least making him rush it. They're also attacking him on defense.

In January Merrill averaged a shot every 2.4 minutes. In February it's every 3.3 minutes. Opponents aren't letting him shoot uncontested 3's any more. In nine games this month he has yet to score in double figures.
If they're guarding him super tight to take away the 3 isn't he still providing value with his gravity?

If there were no injuries and JB wasn't forced expand his rotation, he might not have a job right now. Now he's back to who he's always been. A stubborn, unimaginative coach who only trusts his vets. A night like tonight against Philly, there is no way Niang should've gotten more time than Wade, and there is no way LeVert should've come back in the 4th quarter after his 1-11 debacle.

In general, what has Niang done to justify the minutes he's getting over Wade? When TT comes back, will Wade get buried on the bench?

there were some wide/decently open 3s because of that situation and... BRRRRRICK

Hard disagree. The return of Garland and Mobley aligns exactly with the reduction in Merrill 3PA, and the reduction in 3PA overall. Garlands slow walk over the court, and increased ball handling is related. I also think Evan creates more inside opportunity over all so the drive and pass or entry passes are there a little more often.. I know Garlands assists are high, but there are a lot of bobbles.

Merril specifically is hard to stop when he gets a hard screen at 40 to 50 degrees on the arc, but I think he gets better screens from Strus, or Allen or Wade..

Against Philly, everybody but Niang could not drop a basket. I would ask the refs to check the rims...Niang used to play there so maybe he knows something.. It was a back to back though.
