2023-24 Season | Game #75 | Cavs @ Nuggets | March 31, 2024 | 3:30 p.m. | NBA TV

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Allen/Mobley may have stat padded points, but their complete lack of effort on the boards and defensively set the tone.
Defend on what??? The team never showed up and didn't want to play this game. My advice is to erase this post.

i completely missed this game, forgot about its existence, and did not tape it. happy weekend everyone else who forgot,

:fnd (2):

p.s. i feel bad i missed jokic in his prime dominate a pedestrian opponent, though. still looking for a two-peat this year.

I wonder what excuse the Darius Garland “white knights” will come up with to defend him today. 5 points and 3 turnovers in 29 minutes of starting guard play , not to mention Reggie Jackson, KCP and Christian Braun scoring 51 between them

let's please focus on the cavs players, not the cavs players' cavs fans. today's result is not worth trying to figure out how to thread that needle. :chuckle:

Easy for you to say, you didn’t suffer through 2 1/2 hours of pitiful basketball like I did :banghead:

i believe everyone (except me, fortunately) suffered enough today. surely, you knew a west-coast afternoon start time would end this way for this roster.

From the lack of action in here, it looks like most Game Day regulars opted for a better way to spend their Sunday. There was just so much action on TV….Cavs, NCAA, Guardians and the final round of the PGA Houston Open. I had TVs and iPads cranked up. Happy Easter, my friend

Disinterested is the least you can say about this game. Something just isn't right; Mitchell is playing like he doesn't care but it seems to have carried over to the rest of the team. The effort today was abysmal. Something is amiss.

Notice how Mitchell is slowly bringing up the ball when the Cavs are 20 points down. What is with that?

He's hurt, now he's probably out of shape, he's probably given up on this season until playoffs and he's probably done with JBB for good.

I'll give him a pass, I haven't seen a Cav play as hard or passionately for a W in a long long time. Sometimes he flames out in the clutch but he's always got that look in his eyes and always gives 110% when the money's on the line.

Caris LeVert (6) and Georges Niang (5) were are 2 leading rebounders; that’s puzzling and concerning

Mitchell is 100% still hurt and shouldn't be playing. Zero explosiveness. They squeaked out a win against a currently bad Philly team but that was a band-aid over the gaping wound here.

Defense has went to shit. Team looks like they know they're on their way to a quick exit.
