The flow of draft picks should be pretty continuous around here. Those 3rd round picks aren't anything to sneeze at either. Emerson and Dawand were 3rd and 4th rounders. So we know we can get starters there.

If I was an owner looking for a GM this off season, my first question for a potential GM is "What are your thoughts on backup QBs?".

Curious to see what DTR can do. We are 6-3 with maybe 1.5 games worth of good QB play, so we can obviously still manufacture some Ws without Watson. It's clear that PJ is at best a bad NFL QB, so I like the pivot to DTR with some legit prep time in advance of taking the field. Odds are the season is cooked no matter who is under center, but at least DTR has some mystery surrounding him.

I'm definitely interested to see how well DTR does in his second start.

You could almost say I'm intrigued.
