The unsung hero of this game was the o-line. I thought they played really well overall.

Also Jed Wills kind of sucks and the fact that Geron Christian has outplayed him so much on back to back weeks is making it even more obvious.
In what way were they that good?

We ran 3 yard pass plays every single play and couldn’t really run the football.

Gave up only 1 sack against a really good defense and they weren't the ones calling -4 yard passes so often in the second half.

They battled and gave way more protection than DTR thought they were for most of the game.

I mean, yeah.

These quarterbacks are horrific. Any wins they get the rest of the way are found money.

Yeah just kind of kills the enjoyment of beating the Steelers and being 7-3 for me.

Can’t even get excited. I was so fucking pumped last week.

Tbh I think this is a get what you pay for kinda situation

Everyone bemoaned the play calling and not opening it up

But I can’t imagine that we don’t have one of the lowest time to throw in the entire league this week. Offense was basically designed to not let their edge rushers wreck the game

I wonder if Patriots fans were ready to give up on their season when starter Bledsoe went out with an injury and 6th round QB Tom Brady had to fill in.

Or how the Eagles felt when Wentz went down and journeyman Foles had to step in.

You know what both of those teams had in common? Great Defenses, a good run game, and a solid O-line. Don’t give up now - because this team sure as hell hasn’t.

I think Stef will eventually run a heavy rpo with DTR similar to what he had with Mayfield here.

The only difference is Mayfield has a lot more arm talent than DTR.

Our fan base definitely gave up on DTR even though we led or were tied the entire game. That says something. They're not willing to give anyone a chance to learn, grow, or develop. Yes we want to win now but prime Tom Brady is not coming here, and anyone else available is moldy warmed over leftovers.

DTR is a deer in the headlights and always will be...
DTR can't throw down the field...

We brand players with their worst traits as though that is all they are, and they can ever be regardless of sample size.
