Just realized there wasn't a 2023 thread yet.

This story doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon.

I think the most hilarious thing would be for him to get pissed off at the university for allowing a suspension then throw a bitch fit and bolt — take a TV job for a season then hit the NFL in 24

i know I know

I mean their first 4 games are against Division 2 teams again this year so the suspension is pretty meaningless.

Since the band-aid was ripped off with USCLA, this has felt somewhat inevitable.

I love it for a few reasons:
-Oregon is a legit program with Nike branding/money to stay relevant
-Probably won’t have to wait too long to get revenge for our last loss against the Ducks
-Two great color schemes to help balance all the red
-Largest conference means largest penis

Any semblance of tradition was ruined when they added USC/UCLA (arguably when they added Rutgers), so might as well acquire all the top programs you can now. Better to be in the Big 10’s or SEC’s position position than the other conferences now scrambling for scraps.

I like that we’re getting quality teams, just miss the old conferences.

Yea my overall feel8ng towards sports in general is that TV money is ruining a lot of what I enjoyed about them.

Just an extension of that.

I don't get why European soccer fans were.able to band together to say no to the Super League the major clubs wanted to form and we here in America just watch it all happen and barely say a word.
