2023 Game #3 | #6 Ohio State vs. Western Kentucky | September 16th, 2023 @ 4 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Smart play there not leveling that defender with a crackback. I don't know the rules on that anymore but it wasn't needed.

Just got home. Reading this thread it seems I should be happy to have missed most of the first half.

Offensive line has shown up today in a big way. They've been bullying the WKU defense.

I wonder now if it'll be a whole 2nd half of Devin?

9 plays for 4 TDs for 221 yards to end the half. they are doing alright :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I don't want to take anything away from McCord looking solid.

But we are just running free on many of these plays.

Harrison's TD he was open by 15 yards. Egbuka's 1st TD he just stopped in a hole right infront of the goal line and there was no defender within 10 yards. And then that last one he was again by himself.

He's not missing the throws and he's seeing them, though.

This is shaping up to be a rather poor day from the Big Ten in their non-conference games so far.

Would anybody call me crazy if I traded McCord for WKY’s QB?

Also Burke absolutely had to recover that fumble. Just brutal.

I think the offense scheme that WKY is using is just allowing for quick and easy throws. They are being pretty creative with misdirection and movement to open up their receivers.

I think most good QBs will do well at OSU if they make the easy throws. I want to see McCord use his legs more because we're going to need that option later.

So this is the big thing. McCord isn’t Stroud or Fields, but he’s got two all-time OSU WRs that are going to burn 95% of the DB corps they line up against.

As long as he hits those guys when they’re burning people, we’re in business.
