Still waiting for the official announcement activating George Valera from the IL. IMO - with pretty much no time left, if he is producing even a little something they will be calling him up to the MLB club. I am actually starting to believe a healthy Valera is going to be the first reinforcement call up unless he is really stinky.

I'm not sure which day they officially sent him out for a rehab assignment... He's officially been optioned down, so regardless, he has used up his option year i believe...

It's been reported he has left EST and is going to be activated in CBus today. I don't think we will be seeing any other moves, maybe Hentges.

He's ready. I suspect we probably won't see him though until June.

My bigger question is who gets the hook for him. Florial makes the most sense given the team has mostly used him at DH, but he's performed so-so this year. My obvious choice would be RL, but the team seems to like him despite his struggles.
