Was there a particular reason TMac only threw 75 pitches today ? He’s thrown about 84-87 in his other starts.

Not that it’s a huge amount more but he even technically threw a few more for his first start.

there didn't appear to be anything other than Vogt wanted Styx to leave the game while ahead.. His velo and spin all seemed to be fine..

Someone (don't recall... it could have been @Tondo ) said the CWSox are not eligible for the # 1 overall pick next summer.. the best they can do is the 10th pick.. booo hooo for them...
