1. Cleveland receives: Larry Sanders
Milwaukee receives: Zeller, Gee, Top-4 protected 2015 1st round pick

2. Cleveland receives: Aaron Afflalo
Orlando receives: Jack, Sims, 2014 2nd round pick (via Orlando)

3. Cleveland receives: Kevin Love
Minnesota receives: AB, Dion, TT, 2015 1st round pick (via Memphis)

A 10-man rotation would look like this

Kyrie/CJ/Luol/Love/Sanders
Delly/Afflalo/Kerasev/Clark/Varejáo

If you wanted to you could switch CJ and Afflalo and Varejao and Sanders. Anyone's thoughts on this?

Its crazy. Thought we could do one of them but all 3...anyways, I heard sanders and Gary Neal had a fight after their game last night. Love his game

Ya ill pass on the first two.

1. Fuck no to Larry Sanders. The Cavs just offloaded a seven foot cancer. No need to bring in one on an albatross contract.

2. Might take more than that to acquire Love. They'd likely have to take back a bad contract.

3. If Mike Brown would seriously start Miles over Afflalo, then he has officially reached a new height of stupidity that I didn't think was possible. Luckily, even in a hypothetical situation like this he's not that dumb. Also, Orlando will want much more for a guard who's shooting, scoring, and defending well at $7.5 million a year.

At any rate, why would anyone possibly want to shake up the roster this much all at once? This isn't NBA 2K14. There is such a thing as chemistry and continuity that needs to be taken into account.

I'll only agree to this if you agree that if this fails we get to cut your nuts off and hog tie you to a gigantic ant farm.

Nobody's gonna be trading for Sanders for awhile. He's still in time bomb mode on a sizable contract. He just got ejected again last night for throwing and elbow at Steven Adams. Also, because of his behavior and contract, he should be obtainable without a first round pick.

Would love Afflalo from Orlando, but it's not happening without a third team. The only reason they'd be trading Afflalo is to get at least one usable asset back and shed his salary. Jarrett Jack adds more salary to them, and Henry Sims and their own 2nd rounder isn't enough.

For Love, I think it gets done with only two of those players, but another pick or two instead. That is on par with recent superstar trades.

I'm not too sure that the Magic would reject Jack for Afflalo, though they wouldn't do it straight up. Jack gives them some PG depth and would make it easy for them to decline the large option on the table for Nelson. They've got two firsts this year. Sending them either the Memphis, Miami, or our own 2015 pick with Jack might interest them. They'll have $15-16M after signing their draft picks next season if they decline Nelson. I doubt it's a slam dunk, but I think it's possible.

If you could get Afflalo for Jack and a first, would you do it?

I think these trade proposals are a good example of the potential flexibility the Cavs have to acquire a number of players. It is hard to resist just plugging guys in and making deals right away. But we have to be patient too. We could honestly probably add Sanders and Affalo tomorrow if we really wanted to.

I think the Cavs approach goes something like this:

They will monitor the hell out of the Love situation and possibly the Marc Gasol situation. If either player becomes available the Cavs will pounce imo.

Until the Cavs are certain Love/Gasol won't be moved they will make sure main assets, Waiters, Thompson, Bennett, 1st rounders, remain on the roster.

If neither player becomes available, I think the Cavs will then start to add other pieces to build for the future and maintain a level of flexibility by using lesser assets. Deng is a perfect example of this.

I like Affalo a lot and would do what it takes to get him within reason.

I can't even get past your first trade. That's one of the worst trades I've seen on this board. Are you just picking names and then deciding to give up picks and young center who is progressing nicely? Top 4 protected? So if we would get the number 5 pick in the draft they would get that too? I would give them that pick straight up and you want to add Zeller?

Puff puff pass bro.

None of that would ever happen ever.

We're ripping Orlando and Milwaukee off, and then gutting ourselves getting Love.

That'll work in 2K14, not in real life.

Doesn't even work in 2K14, Minnesota rejects the trade :dunno:

That lineup would be nasty, with Afflalo starting of course. He's 100x better than CJ. Apparently a lot of RCF doesn't watch much bball besides the Cavs, because Afflalo is a hell of player. No way in hell Orlando would trade him for scraps.

I agree. He's a very nice ball player. No way we could get him for that. But he wants to give up a top 4 only protected 1st and Zeller for Sanders and his shitty contract. Makes sense.
