Killing time before I get ready to start my day. I apologize if someone already posted something very similar to this.
Cavs Receive:
Amare Stoudemire
James Posey
Cavs Give:
Tarence Kinsey
Ben Wallace
Sasha Pavlovic
JJ Hickson
2009 1st rounder
2011 1st rounder
Suns Receive:
Chris Bosh
Tarence Kinsey
Suns Give:
Amare Stoudemire
New Orleans Hornets Receive:
Ben Wallace
Sasha Pavlovic
New Orleans Gives:
James Posey
Tyson Chandler
Toronto Receives:
Tyson Chandler
J.J. Hickson
2009 Cavs 1st Rounder
2011 Cavs 1st Rounder
Toronto Gives:
Chris Bosh
Why Cavs Do It: Obviously, they get a premier scoring option at the 4/5 position while giving up pieces that weren't integral to our season. The 1st round picks are also very low, assuming Lebron doesn't dart after 2010. Posey will be a above average defender for at least 2 more years and can nail the three. He would be a solid addition to the bench behind Bron or Delonte.
Why Suns Do It: I think the Suns make out the best in this deal. They get an all-star in Chris Bosh, who also is an expiring that will save them money. Tarence is in there for cap relief but can give some good minutes, especially in the Suns system.
Why Hornets Do It: They get the cap-relief they so desperately need. Posey, a long contract for them comes off the books, and so does Chandler, who they're trying to ship to save cash. Sasha and Ben provide the cap relief, and this deal is especially sweet for the Hornets if Ben chooses to accept a buyout in order to retire.
Why Raptors Do It: This may be the more difficult aspect of the trade. Tyson and JJ are two solid young additions to the Raptors, a team that really needs help for its front court, considering Bosh wants to high tail is out of here. The Raptors also get two first round picks. The big question is, do the Warriors and Bulls have something that could trump JJ and Tyson?
Cavs Lineup Before Additional Moves are Made:
PG- Mo/Boobie
SG- West/Posey
SF- Bron/Posey
PF- Amare/Darnell/AV
C- Z/AV
