#7 Jamie Gillan - Scottish Punter Gets Hammered

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
King was last on an NFL roster in 2018. That's who you want?
44 average in 2018 vs Jamie's 41.8 right now.. I'd take you to get a tryout bro.

What we've seen from Gillan in back to back games inside of a dome.. I don't want to even imagine during the winter.

But yeah, King probably isn't the answer neither.

On March 30, 2018, the Raiders released King. Leading up to and upon his release, several of his teammates were publicly critical of King, especially Bruce Irvin and Cordarrelle Patterson. Patterson said of King: "I like [Marquette King], he’s a little different, but he’s a good guy. He loves his wine. He always called me after every game like 'let’s go get some wine'. People didn’t like him though. He was kinda like a diva, but he wasn’t. He really didn’t show it that much, but like, he was crazy, man. He had fun though. I respect him as a person, but he just did things a little different…"

Bring him in Dorsey!

Was this a veiled reference to him being gay? I'm serious.

Don't think so - because of this thread I ended up watching a video this guy put together on Youtube. Very informative on King:

Long story short: he really does just seem like a different guy. He's a self-taught punter, used to be play wide receiver in high school, was recruited as such at a small school, but when he got buried on the depth chart his coach told him to switch positions or they'd reallocated his scholarship. So he did, and it turns out he could really boom the ball. Fast forward to Oakland and he made light of the Aqib Talib / Michael Crabtree (his teammate) chain grabbing incident - by taking a picture with Talib re-enacting the chain grabbing. Didn't sit well with his teammates to be paling around with Talib given the history. He also drew three unsportsman-like penalties... as a punter... which would be really annoying to any head coach. Not sure if any of those things factored in, but he got cut by Jon Gruden when Gruden became HC. Went to Denver on a nice contract, and they tried to change his punting technique (which does seem like a genuinely stupid idea to ask of a guy who's been punting well for years in the NFL) and he eventually got cut after getting injured. He made a good chunk of money in the NFL, so I imagine he lives comfortably. He makes music on the side. Even has a Vevo channel on YouTube.

I'm starting up the Donald De La Haye bandwagon. Toot toot!

Britton Colquitt took a pay cut to stay in Minnesota, then they cut him. He is watching football on Sundays.

If I recall that name, he kept burying the buckeyes inside the 20 some few years ago
