of lack thereof ... ??

Never thought this case scenario would ever be a possiblity. But, I'm going to lay out some opinions, and thought patterns that have been circulating in my mind since before this Boston series began. I can go back to three different points during the regular season actually.

But, the main issue is this. I no longer feel that Mike Brown has Lebron James confidence and support as the head coach of this basketball team. I think it's been hanging by a paper thin thread since last year's collapse against the Magic, and has never stabilized to a secure place since.

I think of late, he's also had some key people in his life ,,,in his ear poisoning his mind with alternatives.

I'll put four names together ... Leon Rose, Wes Wesley, John Calipari, Lebron James.

I believe parlayed w/ Lebron's wavering low levels of confidence in Mike Brown, has come these factors in his life that have him mentally compromised.

The Lebron we're seeing in this series is a Lebron James that no longer trusts, believes, nor buys into ANYTHING coming from our head coach.

The only person I've even hinted with in regards to what has been going on has been Jon/Va in a few texts a week or so back. I had heard via some Nike insiders that John Calipari was having strong interests in coming back to the NBA game, but only under the most positive of situations.

Obviously if I'm hearing these things, Lebron is getting them, and more from his people that surround him.

Please note two key, and I believe related issues. Wes Wesley is now an agent representing coaches. To believe he is now working for Calipari would be educated reasoning to say the least

Another key piece ...high ranking recruits to Kentucky aren't signing letters of intent any longer. They are signing something less binding, so that IF Calipari isn't there any longer, they no longer are tied to that university.

If you are smart, you can begin to piece together a puzzle.

I don't believe that I'm delusional ...

But, I'm shocked that, even given a diminished confidence in Mike Brown as our head coach, that Lebron would throw him under the bus in this fashion. No matter ...it's not something anyone of conscience would do.

Saying that ....I just refer to my subject title.

I'd like to think I'm way off base and delusional. But, something is up in my mind.

Red flags began to arise with the elbow injury, with me.

Lebron has always been a player that has been very upfront and vocal about any physical ailment that has or could hinder his play. To the point of obsessive personal concern. When he shot that one FT left handed, and then came out and said it was an issue he had been dealing with for weeks, it was very odd to everyone, because it took our Dr's and training staff by surprise completely.

Since that point in time, which coincides with all that was happening on the Wesley/Calipari front ...Lebron has been a completely different individual. Nothing like the guy we have gotten to know over thecourse of all these years with us.

Which then lead me to try and figure out and ask myself ....what could be causing this ?

And I'm only being honest when I say ...this is where my mind has gone, and the conclusions that I've been coming to.

I hope I'm dead wrong ...but, that's where I'm at mentally right now.

I'm going to have to pull the trigger...

Thanks for your thoughts. Will be interesting to see our reaction in Game 6, and our approach moving forward past this season. What an implosion.

Shorter W&G: LeBron is coming up with reasons to lose so he can get rid of MB in favor of Calipari.

Never thought the 2010 season would end with blowouts and conspiracy theories.

I need a drink.

Looking at this in the most rose colored glasses I can find, doesn't this insinuate that he cares about stayinig in Cleveland for a while? If he is willing to throw away a great chance at a championship to get a better coach in here, then I believe he wants to stay. Otherwise, he would just win the championship and move on

If this is indeed true, this is a betrayal NO ONE saw coming. The person we saw as our savior is selling us out.

What effect does Calipari, and all that stuff have on Lebron's status in free agency? Does it make him MORE likely to leave for another team, or does it indicate possibly a head coaching change here?

This is a horrible feeling. He can't just fucking toy with our franchise like this. I am livid right now.

This is the perfect time to panic!

I don't know if you guys heard Windy on KNR about a half hour ago, but he too had some harsh words about LeBron (and rightfully so). He was asking people close to LBJ and he said they all had dead looks in their eyes and had no idea what the hell was going on. He even went so far as to say the Kobe-LeBron debate is over as of now. He also made the point that LeBron will forever be known as a quitter and a loser if we lose this series and especially if he runs away from his problems to another city.

I just sent an e-mail to a friend of mine who asked me about what was going on, and I told him it looks like some maturity issues are coming to the forefront. Looks like that's not far from the truth at all.

And if he acts like this if he doesn't like his head coach, imagine how he'd react in New York with a media who would crucify him for this sort of behavior. And in the most public of ways.

Just pack your bags and leave, Bron. You will never be a winner when you listen to opportunists that you surround yourself with. Can his mother or even his HS friends wake him up from this?

This is so sad. Seven years in the making...what could have been a legacy...and he is throwing it all way...

I don't understand...Mike Brown kissed his ass until after that Game 2. It seemed that him lashing out at the team (and LeBron) got LeBron angry and he is going to throw this series. He's gonna throw it and get Brown fired and have his guy come in. LeBron is a big ass crybaby...he was babied from the beginning. He never fully respected Mike Brown. Not like Duncan and Pop...Jordan and Phil...Kobe and Phil...Wade and Riley...Malone/Stockton and Sloan....LeBron wants his way and his way only...this is BULLSHIT. The kid is fucking throwing this series because he's a crybaby....throwing away thousands and thousands of fans' hopes and dreams...throwing away the chance to get a ring for one of the people he respects most in Big Z. Remember that hug in 2007 after we beat the Pistons in Game 6? He was a kid back then it seemed, wanting to impress and make a guy like Z proud. Now he's acting as if he's too big for the team...too big for the city of Cleveland...too big for the Cavaliers franchise. It disgusts me. He doesn't even care. The way he comes out during post game conferences...laughing, saying he's been in these situations, saying things that don't mean SHIT because he doesn't mean them.

I can't believe this is going on....disrespectful and overall a shitty move by LeBron James. Thanks a fucking lot...

so he wants to bring in a college coach to the nba game? count me out.
