Parker brings the offense and with a more offensive coach, sure to come from Griffin's hire, I don't know if we need more offense with Parker. Love him as a player but its tough to see Parker fit with Waiters and Bennett. Of course we aren't married to those players but it just seems tougher.
Wiggins and Embiid fit like gloves to more of our current roster.
I think we end up taking one of them.
The question becomes which position becomes easier to fill outside of the draft. And that is SF.
Franchise centers are harder to find. And if healthy and the prognosis is good, you can't pass on Embiid.
If he is screwed up, then Wiggins isn't a bad prize.
Parker was at 25 points per 40, which is elite territory, especially for a frosh and better than Carmelo's rookie year with higher percentages. Wiggins was at 20 per 40, that is a pretty significant difference. Not that Wiggins is chopped liver, but Parker is the best scorer in the draft and absolutely could be the next great NBA scorer.I wish Parker's shooting percentage was a bit higher. I find it hard to claim he will win a scoring title when he isn't that much better of a scorer than Wiggins at this point in time
Well, at least I didn't feel I was watching Harrison Barnes like in those Wiggins clips.
He's my pick if Joel's back is a problem.
People keep pointing to his D and saying how bad it looks. It looks that bad because he is not even trying. He doesn't care. When he gets to the NBA and small forwards start dunking on him, he will care. He has to much pride in his game not to improve. It isn't his athleticism that keeps him from being a good defender it is just effort. I want him if Embiid doesn't check out because he looks like the #1 that Kyrie is not.
