A Closer Look at Kyrie Irving

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What's his family financial situation? Anyone know? That would play a part in if he stays or goes.

I don't think it matters if the Wizards or the Wolves pick ahead of the Cavs. If an Irving is there to take, do they really pass on him? I don't think so.

Yes...the Wolves have Flynn and Rubio who they are high on, they would probably look at drafting another SG, while Washington has Wall and desperately needs big guys

Thanks for jinxing our first rounder... we're getting Jones now.

Which Jones was I talking about though? Perry or Terrance?

A-bomination ...

Here, I found it..

Irving, 18, has Paul-like athleticism. His uncanny quickness allows him to get wherever he wants to go on the court. One observer recently called the Australian native "Rajon Rondo with a shot."

This kid is really well spoken as well, I could see him being the face of a franchise.

It's nice to see a young kid who can actually enunciate for a change.

I refuse to get my hopes up for the #1 pick this early. :)

Most players who go to Duke stay there more then one year, I doubt he's coming out.

Did the OP seriously say Derick Fisher not so good? Fisher is much in the clutch! Look at the dudes playoff clutch numbers.

He's a good role player and a great clutch shooter, but let's not overrate the guy...he's obviously not a premier point guard.

What is the obvious part, maybe I missed something?

As I stated elsewhere, the trend has been with the one and doners is that if they explode in college then they'll likely explode in the NBA (Rose, Melo, Durant in recent years). Irving was sensational in the games I watched him play. He did this again good competition in Pullen (KSU) and Lucas (MSU) and not just patsies

Terrific skills combined with good size and good athlete (he's not a Westbrook type athlete but good enough). Shooting, ballhandling, and defense. Easy choice for #1 pick if his foot if ok'ed by the docs
