I am shocked that Eli did not create a last minute account to make one last push! or did I speak too soon?

Ive been on this site for years I just never really post much.

I'm not advocating that hes a top 5 or even top 8 guy, but if someone like a Popovich could keep him in check I could see this guy making a career out of guarding the most unstoppable scorer of our generation.

If you are talking perry jones, I don't think he has the mental toughness to slow down Lebron, or Durant for that matter, but I do see him able to score against both, if he is developed the right way. That is a weapon to offset those guys.

I don't see any clues the cavs are into him though. We shall see...

Ford reporting that Jones III has some knee problems. Perhaps he'll drop even further.

NBA draft 2012 -- Knee of Baylor Bears' Perry Jones III raises red flags, sources say - ESPN

By Chad Ford | ESPN.com

It looks like Jared Sullinger isn't the only big time NBA draft prospect to have medical issues hurt his stock.

Multiple league sources say that NBA team doctors are concerned about a meniscus issue in Baylor forward Perry Jones III's knee.

While opinions vary among NBA doctors on the ramifications of the issue, some teams feel that the knee could be an issue down the road and at some point in the future require surgery. Not all teams have the same degree of alarm, but the concerns have caused Jones' stock to slide from the mid-to-late lottery portion of the draft down into the late teens and early 20s of the round.

Jones' agent, Bill Duffy, declined comment.

Wow, talk about making a mistake staying in an extra year for both of these kids. In the end, it will work out for them but man....boy of these guys were at worst likely a top 12 pick last season.

Perry with a knee problem AND a questionable motor could easily drop him into the second round , if his knee is that much of a concern to teams.

As much as I wasn't a Perry Jones fan, sign me up all day long if he drops to #24...
