Hello,
The good folks of Reddit suggested this as one of the active places where I could get some research help. Apologies if this is the wrong place for this.

I’m a professor from Shippensburg University doing research on Major League Baseball (MLB) and sports fans. We are looking for MLB fans to complete an online survey about what it means to be a sports fan and what your team means to you. During the survey you will be asked to answer a series of questions related to your favorite team. The survey should take approximately 15 minute to complete. Your responses will be anonymous, and we are not collecting any personal data. You can skip any question that you do not feel comfortable answering.

If you would like to help us out with our study, please click on this link to read more about the survey.

Your survey lists the Cleveland Franchise as the Indians...now the Guardians. This should be corrected because it will certainly skew some answers and results.

You should really have none at all as 1 and a lot as 8, it's confusing and i think i screwed up an answer or two if this was consistently the scale. You should also have a back button. Ideas for next time..

I do research in my day job and arranging the scale differently on some questions is a purposeful tactic to stop people from getting into a rhythm and answering the same for all questions. It forces the subject to read each question carefully before answering.

I agree on the back button though.

Am I the only one having deja vu on this? Perhaps it wasn't about baseball, but there was definite some academic doing a sports fan survey here within the past few years....

Earlier this year on basketball. Asked me about how I feel about some other team and what I believe their fans think. FFWOT.
