My impression of him was cemented early on when I encountered him face to face for the first time and he was dressed up in yellow feathers for the "Early Bird" season ticket promotion during LBJ's rookie year. I still can't look at him without seeing some sort of unsavory Big Bird hybrid in the back of my mind.
