List of events: http://www.nba.com/news/as.game/2014-all-star-schedule/index.html

I'm really looking forward to the dunk contest. Should be the best one in years.

For whatever reason, I've always enjoyed All-Star weekend. I hope Deng, Varejao and the rest of our guys can come back a little healthier.

It's weird...to me, the actual All-Star game has always been the least interesting and exciting part of the weekend...mainly because no one tries.

I get much more enjoyment watching the rookie sophomore game and skills night.

This might be the most legitimately exciting All Star Weekend in a decade.

They made tweaks to a lot of the events, especially the dunk contest. It's now an East vs West jam session format, and all the participants are pretty great, as opposed to the towel waivers they've trotted out there in recent years.

Dunkers:

Lillard
McLemore
Barnes

vs.

Wall
George
Ross

Also, apparently you can put the money balls wherever you want in the 3 pt shootout this year. Afflalo said he's gonna put all five in the corner three spot. Smart.

Might actually check it out this year. I usually don't even bother with it, or I only watch bits of it.

I get the feeling Kyrie is going to totally fail in the three point shootout.

I heard Wade might not play in the All Star game. He shouldn't.

Line-up for the celebrity game sucks. Who are these jokers?

My dream is that one day they let a fan play in the celebrity game, and I just tear it up on national tv and win the MVP. It could happen...

Sears Shooting Stars (1st Event), Taco Bell Skills Challenge (2nd Event), Foot Locker Three Point Contest (3rd Event), Sprite Slam Dunk Contest

i understand that NBA is making big money on this shit, but it is hilarious.

Quite frankly I can't believe Sears has enough money to sponsor anything. :chuckles:

Usually watch everything except the celebrity game. Literally have never seen it. Is it worth watching?

"Taco Bell Skills Challenge" sounds like the worst possible eating competition or something you'd see at Taco Bell's corporate getaway.

It's funny for about 7 minutes.

Biggest takeaway I ever had watching it is that Justin Bieber is kind of an actual baller a little bit and that really bummed me out.

Yeah, suppose there's a big difference between:

Taco Bell SKILLS CHALLENGE

and

TACO BELL SKILLS challenge
