3pt specialist.
Even if the pick is heavily protected, hard not to be excited about this deal.
I don't know why anyone think this makes TT more tradeable. TT is much better. Henson is definitely not an ideal replacement.
If you move TT; its if you get value for him back. Plain and simple. Henson should have no equation at all on trading Tristan.
He's definitely not an idea replacement for him.
I'm not saying he is a direct minutes for minutes replacement but he adds another center to the group to soak up TTs minutes if he leaves. If Henson can hit 3s at a decent percentage, get rebounds, and block shots, he will get minutes. It's easier to move TT if we have Nance, Henson, and Zizic to take over the center minutes than just Nance, Frye on a one year deal, and Zizic.
He's not a starting caliber player, at, all...
I don't think the Cavs have any serious interest in Henson. They did this trade for the picks.
Bucks did this trade to clear salary and be players in free agency.
Delly is a fan favorite. Henson was a throw in.
I doubt he's in the plans at all.
We have been linked to Henson for years though. He has always been a rumored target for the Cavs.
Right now, TT is the best player on this team. And he's not that old...
I don't think you trade Tristan unless you get back really good value. And if you trade him because of Henson, well, that's just beyond fucking stupid.
Because Henson is no where nearly as good as TT. I'm not a big TT fan either. But he's definitely better by a pretty wide margin.
