Andraez “Greedy” Williams: Round 2, Pick 46

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yeah, unless you're team is in the college playoff then I don't think it's that big of deal to skip a bowl game.

But you are mad at Greedy for not playing in the Fiesta bowl, a non playoff bowl?

This rumor is not accurate.

I have zero issue with Bosa sitting out rest of year just like I had zero issue with Greedy not playing in Fiesta Bowl

Agreed.

Players don't make any money for those bowl games, unless your post-season contests matter then there is no sense in them playing.

Rumor has it he could have come back early November in game shape but wanted to focus on draft after injury.

I personally have zero issue on it.

i do... he could have made a big difference in a couple games to help in into the championship games. sure we might not have won but, what if he could have made the difference?

What if he would have torn his ACL or Achilles and cost himself millions of dollars?

i understand what you are saying. We have seen that happen the past couple years, Jack couple years ago in OSU game. I just feel like, finish it with your teammates.

Well, then they should pay the players.

But he wasn't healthy and had absolutely ZERO business playing it at risk of re-injury.

Im totally for college players getting paid.

I have no issues with him from a personal perspective sitting out. However he shouldnt be surprised there were repercussions for it.

Especially when one of the primary concerns about his game is that he doesn't like to hit people. I could see GM's wondering if he's the kind of guy who may be more worried about "protecting" himself even after he enters the league. Avoiding contact, exaggerating minor injuries, etc..

It's that combination that may have given some pause to GM's.

Watching him play, I think he has gaps in tackling form. He doesn't mind going square into a blocker to erase him from the play, allowing a teammate to clean up the ball carrier. He needs to learn how to wrap up. Luckily he takes the proper angles to tackle. There's a lot to work with as long as he listens to coaching and the leaders of the team about his bad tendencies.

Bro why am I getting disagreed for saying it’s gonna suck when we have to let good talent go because we can’t afford them.

:chuckle:

It fucking will.
