I have a Yahoo fantasy basketball league that I've had for about 5 years that has open spots available. A few people from past seasons aren't going to play this year so their spots are open if anyone is interested in another league. There are already a few RCF members in it.

It's a rotissirie points based league and not weekly head to head. Right now it set for 10 teams but I can expand it to 12 if more people want to join. Just try your best to stay active if you sign up.

Hmm, a roto league.. I always tend to suck at them so bad. Max games played = death for me.

I set the games played to a number higher than the 82 games Yahoo uses. I think that benefits teams that stay active and makes it easier. Last year I had 85 at each position and I plan to set it a little higher this year.

If you still need 1 more person, I suppose you've talked me into it.

Hope you sign up. Think we can get it filled up.

Okay, all signed up. Same team name as I'm using in the other league. Prepare for ultimate suckage. When I signed up it said 82 maximum games, or were you planning on changing that later?

Cool xsabre. I'll change the setting for number of games.

3 spots left. It's a Yahoo league that's been around a while with some of the same Cavs fans and RCF members. A few spots opened up this year.

Draft is Oct 20. Come sign up if you're interested.

Well, what a draft. Watch out for Wilson Chandler. Just remember, I warned you all.

It was a good turnout for the draft and it went pretty quickly. Not sure about Chandler but who knows in D'Antoni's system?

That was you! I was trying to figure out who was who in there. Karma was the only one I recognized.

Sorry guys, I wasn't available for the draft I had family come in from out of town ... I asked them if they could just circle my apt. complex until I was finished with the draft, but they didn't really take to the idea. Best of luck to everyone for 2nd place.... just kidding

He put up stellar numbers at the end of the last season. Add in a D'Antoni system, and he should really flourish. Sleeper of the draft. I honestly see him ranking about 60-75 Y! ranking by the end of the season.

Good draft. Shame I missed the 1st 2 rounds. Lucky I was bored at work and stumbled upon it. I've struggled in Narls leagues so time for revenge.

That was fun last night. I'm still a bit nervous as this is my first roto league.

I think my draft went alright. I'm either going to do awesome or completely fail. No in between. Half of my team are people who are young and hopefully coming into their own or are experienced and now in positions due to trades where they should get significant starting minutes. Whether they thrive in their newly expanded roles is another thing.

That was also my first live draft. Man, 90 seconds goes by quick. I thought I had a solid drafting gameplan, but when time started flying, it ended up being me looking at what positions I still needed and trying to get the best available that I thought would fill it.

It's amazing how many times I was ready to take a person and somebody 1 or 2 spots before would take that person and I'd be left scrambling to find a new pick. Also, the person drafting before me in one round was auto so there would be a couple picks very quickly and the opposite rounds was the first drafter who would have back to back picks and usually picked quickly. Every round I would be watching the screen and bam.....multiple names gone.....next round....bam...multiple names gone. Definitely fun though.

Regardless of how I do overall, I am ecstatic that I have Lebron. I've been one pick away from having him the last three years.
