I currently have a Razer Deathadder 2013 mouse and its about a year old and starting to wear down. Its doing the annoying double click on everything when I only clicked it once thing that apparently they're known for. My mouse is still under warranty, so I can send it back and have it replaced, but I don't want to be without a mouse while that happens and I don't want to have to repeat this process every year.

I was thinking about buying this and selling the Razer mouse that I get back from RMAing mine:

Its a bit pricey though. Has anyone used it that can comment on whether its worth the price? Is it any better or worse than other options out there? Was thinking about buying the matching keyboard too, though I have absolutely no complaints about my current keyboard other than it matches my mouse (Razer Deathstalker) and if I change mice it won't match. I'm looking for something that's going to last longer than a year before it dies on me but also performs well. Price isn't a concern if the quality is there. I'm just concerned about spending $97 on a mouse that isn't any better than the one I bought for $59 last year.

dude, i did not even now they made gaming mouses. Thats a lot of money, the dell special with your computer wont work? :)

I barely even play games and I wouldn't go back to using a non gaming mouse. The difference in quality, precision, and ergonomics is nearly mind blowing over the "Dell specials."

I use a Logitech MX Performance Mouse, cost me $120 from Office Depot and is a phenomenal mouse.

Roccat Kone is what I have and I love it. $ 70 bucks?

I use the R.A.T. 7, really love the customization as I have large hands and I hate tiny mice.

I'm still using a Logitech MX518... don't even make it anymore.

I've been using the mx510 for over 10 years now. I actually considered stockpiling them near the end of their run the thing has worked so well.

I used that mouse for 5+ years but the after they stopped production the cheapest I could find it new was around $150... I decided the 518 is too similar to pay that so I switched. 518 is slightly heavier and has different skates but it didn't take me too long to adjust. Wondering where I go from here though.
