Arena Renovations

Folks say goodbye to "The Gund" that we all knew and loved and get ready for "The Rock" . The new name will be The Rock Financial Fieldhouse. In addition to the name change say sayonara to the powder blue seats, we are getting all "Wine" colored seats. Also we are adding 6 million more to the scoreboard to make it larger and high tech. We are getting a new sound system to get "The Rock" well rockin, we are also getting a new announcer, and also new lighting to make it brighter, and I think they are changing the floor since it was kinda crummy because the Barons and Cavaliers had to share it so look for a better looking floor. gilbert said he wants to make it one of the best Arenas in all of the world.

Well, Gilbert said the name of the Arena would not have the "rock" attached to it. I like it, just didn't think it was a possibility.

yeah fire! fire! fire! (beavis voice haha) We could use more then rotating spotlights and some music. Pyro Show gets my vote, and 1 lucky fan gets to be introuduced as part of the team every home game

I read an article a little while back that stated "Rock" will not be in the name...something about trademarks and other legal blathering.

NO! We can't sacrifice fans before games as some sort of fanatic ritual! we will lose money and crowd generated buzz. terrible idea.

How about a fan from the opposing team? JK I like the changes if that is what's happening, I wrote to them a few months back making similar suggestions.
