I figured I'd start this since it was a good idea in the NFL forum. Just discuss any other games going on. Like this Phoenix game. They are just dominating NO. They actually played good defense for a few possessions too. Goran Dragic is a good replacement for Steve Nash in the future. I can't wait to see them take on the Lakers tomorrow. Looks like it will be a great day for basketball tomorrow.

The teams I'm most surprised with at this point are Phoenix, Miami and Milwaukee. Each team is respectively man handling their opponents, who are top tier teams. Milwaukee beat Denver today thanks to a strong performance by Jennings. He might actually be the real deal. I don't see them going far because of the depth issues and injury prone stars. We need to stay consistent against the Heat tomorrow. They (Wade) really shut the announcer up yesterday when he said Wade won't score 40 (was said during the halftime show). Down by 20 and they came back.

The biggest disappointments are New Orleans, Utah and Washington. N.O, not as much but they shouldn't be losing by 20+ all the time. They don't even have any injuries and got better with Okafor. Same with Utah but they keep the game interesting. Washington has already started with their injury spree. They have 2 guards left.

Even though the Cavs didn't have the start we wanted, it has been a good start to the season. A lot of great games including Chicago and Denver last night. .3 seconds and Miller puts in the shot. Original call was good, and they reversed it. The Chicago announcing team were going crazy because they thought it was good, but it was still on Miller's fingertips. .3 seconds to catch and release, my ass.

Sigh as if the Lakers needed more competition in the west...Fuck the Suns. They look great... This years MVP race is gonna be crazy: Kobe, Nash, LBJ, Wade

You guys would not be suprised about Bucks if you believed me. Right now Jennings and Bogut play like Nate "Tiny" Archibald and Bill Walton from their best days

You are old enough to have seen Nate Archibald play?

... That makes you 40, made not even that old... Did you really watch those games and remember anything about the players that made them so significant? Bill Walton and Tiny weren't typical players. I can't mention anything about them, not having been born in that era, but why would Walton lead a team to a championship if he only averaged 10-15 points? It was because of his spectacular defense. Making blatant comparisons doesn't do you any favors, especially with Bogut being the leader on boards by far, only at a meager 9 a game. He's putting up the same numbers that Z did in 2002-2003, except less points and 2 more rebounds.

In fact, the whole team is only looking good as they are defensively at this point. It must be because they actually have a defensive coach for the last 2 years now... The team is terrible offensively. And playing the Knicks, Nuggets, Wolves, and Sixers (not known defensive teams) are going to obviously going to make the stats look different.

But it's also a reason why normal people don't pay attention to 10% stats and more attention to stats in late December, early January.

Right now, I'm in disbelief about your standards for homerism, ncf135. It actually disgusts me, who didn't take time to trash talk about my team when they won 66 games last year.

All I see from you right now (and the reason you're still here) is that you provide comical entertainment from the longer members here. Is that all you really want to aim for from a quality forum. Wasting your posts on illogical trash talk? On arguments that will look silly even 2-3 months from now? If the Bucks actually get further, good. But a fan should always never take what they have for granted. Never overestimate their limits and always feel they can get better. I learned so much from being a fan from 2000-2003, and feeling that every player on your team is a superstar in the making is not always the solution.

Please man... I'm begging you... try posting something decent...

God help me if you can't, there's no point in even responding to this. It's a waste of time because you'll just run away when it gets bad.

It's pitiful, that even outsiders (who would be more than happy to see us die) make fun of you. It makes me do this: :puke:

Mods, can't we do something about blatant, homeristic, stupidity??? Getting proven right about a team doesn't make me feel superior when the person who's wrong can't even do something useful about it, like admitting a mistake. It just makes me pity the shortsightedness...

If I knew that I would upset you this much (I didn't know it was posible honestly) with something that I wrote on internet then I wouldn't wrote anything.

You are good man and beautiful creature. I am your fan :heated:

Um, thanks?

Does this mean you'll be a better poster? I look forward to actually hearing more about how good the Bucks are and why we should talk about them more. And for the record, I'm quite serious.

No offense but shut up.

It's well documented that the Lakers can sleepwalk through the pre, regular, and post season en route to a Finals appearance ever since getting Gasol. You don't got no competition. Spurs play you well but you always beat them when it matters.

Quit your bitching, some of us have teams that have less talent and huge struggles to overcome in the playoffs.

You're hilarious, fella. If you think any team can just sleep walk and get to the finals, then obviously you're a moron. It's hard to enough to get to the finals one time, even harder to do it twice, but three times? If you think the Lakers "don't got no competition" out west, then you need to up your basketball IQ. No offense.

i don't think a seven game series against a 50 win Rockets team and a six game series against another 50 win Denver squad constitutes sleep walking ......

Sleep walking would be the 89 Lakers who went undefeated in the Western Conference playoff before being swept by the Pistons.....

The officiating in this Orlando/NJ game is atrocious. Awful. CDR just got mugged by Barnes on his way to the hoop and they called a jump ball with Barnes reaching both of his arms over CDR while bumping him with his body. This is sickening.

Dont ask me why I am over here fixated on this HORRIBLE Portland/NOH game

I think its 39-32 in the 3rd quarter and Chris Paul is doing a horrific job of hiding his frustration :)

Peja just shot a wide open airball 3 as I type
