I don't listen to them at all, but supposedly Hammer went on a bitchfest about Kitchens calling up the Ken Carman show and not his show.

Hammer and Rizzo was popular literally when they first got together back in 2007, the Browns had the 'Season of Dreams'. Their talk show was fun, Hammer wasn't a pussy, Rizzo was fresh off of Fox8, their show had good segments and popular guests in studio and on call. Bernie Kosar was heavily involved too. They also bragged about their ratings being off the charts.

If Rizzo was being a grump, he'd tell fans to turn the dial. Well, they did. If I'm listening to Cleveland sports talk, its without a doubt 92.3. They were so cocky, they eventually split up and hosted their own shows, then they want to charge 9.99 for podcasts lol.

To be honest Rizzo changed when everyone found out that he beat his wife. Quality soon went way downhill after that in terms of programming. Splitting them up was an unmitigated disaster, and putting on Emmitt and JeRod instead of keeping Regi and rhoda killed their afternoon.

Sorry to keep this thread off track but I’ve heard from 2 sources that the incident he got busted for wasn’t the first time. There was another in public that was swept under the rug. Rizzo is Grade A POS

Even during the "prime" of the network it really wasn't all that good.

Munch while a good programming dude was somewhat painful to listen to in drive in and it just consistently was an aggravating listen sans Rizzo.

There's just better outlets. Christ...there's like 50 different Browns podcasts/livestreams up right now that I can barely keep track of that keep popping up on my twitter feed. They're all done by good, passionate people for the most part.

Plus you have Joe Thomas, Browns Daily with Zegura (smart dude), and quite a few other sources to track down at your fingertips, on demand.

I think 92.3 is a helluva partner for the Browns if they play their cards right, but 850 just...man...it's about done.
