i would say ellis or AI2, those would be talent influxes that would need the TPE, especially AI2

I would love AI2, but the sixers are having a relatively successful season.. i doubt they would want to give up their best player now..

Yeah, they're in the playoff picture right now. That's probably good enough for the owner not to rebuild. It puts butts in the seats.

AI2 will not be leaving. The 76ers are in the playoffs. I think Windy shot that down as soon as he was mentioned.

the warriors aren't going to trade Monta for just cap relief. the sixers won't trade AI2 for just cap relief. Now the blazers, they may want to trade Roy for Cap relief. Then the Cavs could get one of their other young guys - Batum? Would I do that deal - of course not...but thats probably more likely than getting a high priced player who is actually producing, for nothing.

i could also see a Mayo+Thabeet for the TPE. Neither of those guys is giving the Grizz much, and they are still playing well, plus this will allow them to free up some $$ for Randolph and Gasol.

Wouldn't be opposed to Mayo at all. He's young, averages 18/3/3 as a starter, and would fit in nicely to our rebuilding plan.

Ellis would be awesome if we could get him. He's only 25, knows how to score averages 5.5 assists per game. Couple him with a high draft pick and maybe Oden!?!?! Would absolutely love that.

Also like others have said I would love to get Mayo too.

I sincerely doubt we'd trade for Roy, nor would I want them to.
I'm not saying it's going to happen, but Monta for cap relief works for both parties. They have no leverage in trading him: his contract is long and large and they have a log jam in the back court with him and Steph. The rumors about them moving Monta have been going on for 2 years now. They can try to pry a 1st (miami's), and if it cost that I would still do it.

The Nuggets are trying to sign Nene to an extension, I doubt they would trade him with part of the young talent they just acquired for the Cavs crap.

Wallace, Iggy, Granger, etc are all super terrible options unless there is a legitimate rebuilding asset coming too (which is unlikely IMO).
