Either way, which ever one we play, it will be a good game. But, the Ohio St. vs. LSU is a bit more exciting than Ohio St. vs. South Carolina.

What does everyone else think?

Agreed. This team was expected to contend for a title. It wasn't expected to be relegated to the Capital One Bowl. That said, I still think OSU goes to a BCS bowl if they win out.


For what it is worth, I'll toss in my BCS Bowl projections:

BCS Title Game

Oregon vs. Alabama

Orange Bowl

Ohio State vs. Virginia Tech

Sugar Bowl

Auburn vs. TCU

Rose Bowl

Wisconsin vs. Boise State

Fiesta Bowl

Oklahoma vs. Pitt

Even though either of the lower-grade bowls v. SEC teams aren't as glamorous, I would be much more excited to play South Carolina or LSU than the winner of the Big East or ACC whomever that may be. Despite some giving OSU the title of most overrated football program, Virginia Tech has blown ever since Vick left. There would be more punts than first downs if OSU played VT. I'm bored just thinking about it.

The only people who think OSU is overrated are the ones who think national titles are how you measure the worth of a program- namely, new fans of college football.

OSU is going to need strong showings in all of their final games, especially Iowa, if they are to have any hope of a BCS game.

After starting the season with the hopes of a title it'd be a shame to not go to at least a BCS bowl. I certainly wouldn't mind another shot at the Rose Bowl.

In the end i don't think that will have any effect on Ohio State because you can only send 2 schools from each conference to BCS games. Ohio State is up against Wisconsin, Iowa and Mich State. Only 2 of those 4 schools will get a BCS game.

Well we play against Iowa in 2 weeks and that'll knock it down to a 3 team race......if everybody wins out between Ohio St., Wisconsin, and Mich. State.....i think Wisconsin and Ohio St. will represent the Big Ten in the BCS games......Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl and Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl

Well seeing as how Michigan State is ranked behind us and if we beat Iowa and win out then we are definately in a bcs bowl game.

Lets only hope it helps us. I think like 4 teams have lost in front of us the two previous weeks to this one and we actually move down a spot so we will just have to wait and pray that we atleast move up some.
