My problem is with the league for falling for this bullshit….and allowing him to circumvent the league’s wellness policy! There is NOTHING wrong with this man! And it disgusts me that the league is supporting this charade. IF IT HAPPENS….The minute he gets traded he all of sudden snap out of his depression and his mental health will much better.
It’s called “malingering”
Wilbon was saying today that the sixers GM wants Harden from the Nets and if it happens it will be this summer for Simmons.
Morey is apparently obsessed by Harden and willing to throw away this season for a hope to grab him in a sign/ trade next summer. Statistically Embiid is having one of his best seasons and the Sixers are wasting it.
Except he has a preexisting relationship with Harden. That’s who he wants and will wait until the summer to make it happen. That would be tragic. Embiid is a good guy taking on a huge burden for them and he deserves support.
Obviously being obsessed by getting Harden also means that Morey is both a fool and an asshole
Works great for us. Screws up two of our eastern rivals.Morey is apparently obsessed by Harden and willing to throw away this season for a hope to grab him in a sign/ trade next summer. Statistically Embiid is having one of his best seasons and the Sixers are wasting it.
No this was totally serious. Simons has shown himself to be a good floor spacer and playmaker. Was this a joke?
cavs are interested in joe harris, maybe a protected 2023 can help make that happen. if koby can make it happen for less, he should be runaway GM of the yearSo how can we get involved in a Harden trade again and steal another player?
Not saying Koby has anything to live up to expectations wise, but last time we did get Jarrett Allen for almost nothing.
Unless I missed something he IS being paid! If somebody is out on “medical leave” you can’t dock their pay or take their job. Again I empathize UNLESS I’m wrong they haven’t taken any money from him. Correct if I’m wrong. It's not up to the league. Ultimately, Simmons is going to file a grievance and/or seek arbitration outright, and it'll be decided by the arbitrator whether or not the Sixers have to pay him his salary because of his alleged mental issues, or not.
Pretty sure the league itself will back the Sixers.

He’s Ben fined over $13,500,000 this season. It’s on spotrac.com. Over $300,000 per game. He has no medical issue. He’s claimed he isn’t “mentally ready” to play. Since he only made this claim after he refused to practice and demanded a trade he’s got about as much chance of winning that back on arbitration as Pangos has of making third team all NBA.Unless I missed something he IS being paid!
