Bosh trade

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That's full of crap. Do you honestly think they would consider getting nothing for Bosh better than potentially getting rid of Hedo or Calderon's contract along with receiving Andy, JJ, saving money on Delonte's deal, a first round pick, and potentially more? Give me a freaking break! Not to mention all these players are coming from a winning environment, something the Raptors could use a taste of. We're not shipping them perennial losers.

Well it was said that its not that they don't want to trade Bosh to us, its just that Bosh doesn't want to play in Cleveland. He wants to play with LeBron in a bigger market. But lets see how that goes, maybe LeBron can convince him if/once he re-signs.

Now Toronto is saying that they're tired of Bosh's antics and twittering and aren't going to sign and trade him.

Does anyone think this is just posturing, or are they serious in just letting him walk?

We obviously can't get him without the sign and trade, but wouldn't that hurt Toronto as well. I'd think we could put together something that would accomodate them or help in some way. That team just needs to focus on European players and skip out on the stud African American athlete. It just hasn't worked for them because they all leave.

They draft well, but maybe they should just trade the player right away because they're always getting screwed over by trying to keep and develop them.

Bosh just says this stuff about Cleveland b/c he has no experience living or playing here. If he and LeBron both end up here, just wait 'til their first 10-game winning streak...I'm sure his sentiments would change pretty quickly.

Hopefully what W&G posted this morning is true and Bosh will eventually just take the deal to Cleveland

things will change the minute when (and if) LeBron re-signs with the Cavs. Bosh is going to realize that he'll lose money AND possibly championships if he doesn't take the S/T to CLE.

Don't worry, Chris, we might not have as much sun as Miami, but the pierogies are pretty damn tasty.

The positive thing that I got from this whole fiasco today involving the Raptors is that Broussard said the Raptors were willing to do a S&T with the Cavs for Bosh... That means if/when LeBron comes back, all he needs to do is convince Bosh to come here because we'd have all the other bases covered..

The Cavs are in one of the best positions to offer a combination of things to the Raptors as long as LeBron can convince Bosh to come here...

I'm thinking that the Cavs, once LeBron in hand, may try and go after someone like Ray Allen and then go to Bosh and say "look we have Mo, Jamison, Allen, LeBron and you could potentially complete the team"... While Allen may not be a better fit than say Mike Miller, Allen is a name and could help entice Bosh more so than getting Miller would...
And then Bosh will say....

Well, you traded AV and Hickson for me. Shaq is ancient. Z is ancient. You used the MLE on a guard. Jamison plays PF. Powe plays PF. So...I'm going to play center? Um, no thanks.

Getting a center would entice Bosh more than anything because he has made it clear he does not want to play center.

NO BOSH IN CLEVELAND!!! Let him go elsewhere!!!

It's true that one of the main things Bosh is probably looking at with all these teams is if they're going to put him out of position at the 5. He knows he gets pushed around deep in the paint, and the media rip him to shreds every time it happens.

I wouldn't count Shaq out just yet as a Cav. If they can swing a deal with him for someone like Haywood, the Cavs know they've struck gold, but otherwise, Shaq's another big name to add to that list which would hopefully entice Bosh. As long as there are no hard feelings between them, they could be pretty successful together.

Well, if this is the real Jack Armstrong-- then perhaps things are getting done ? At least the talks are established...

That's a big "if." He did just join to post that, and then reasoned that he was new to Twitter, and there's been plenty of mimic sports personalities on Twitter since FA started. It'd be solid if what he said was true AND if he was the legit Armstrong, but until other sports writers follow him and/or confirm he's the real deal, just take it as someone trying to pile up followers.

You know Heath is somewhere on this site. I wonder who he is?
