If you do it, make sure to get tools and spreaders and a little magnetic bowl and you want to do it on a giant piece of bright white poster board with a ton of lighting. Take your time.

That's what I want to do but it's not my computer and she didn't seem comfortable with me taking it apart. Can't say I blame her :chuckles:

I'll just take it to the tech shop. Thankfully I can afford it. Ridiculous though, who leaves their computer on the ground all the time when they aren't using it...

I gave my wife my Mac Air when I got a pro desktop and the way she treats it drives me bonkers. The cord brick thing is like $99 alone and the screens are impossible to replace.

my GF keeps her flash drive plugged in it at all times. its gonna catch on something and rip the port off the mobo
