@natedagg we will honor the bet, but will revert back to your original 6 games as the O/U, which is only fair and reasonable. So you need a 2-1 and I need an 0-3 to win. A 1-2 will be a push. Good luck in the last three! I hope for the Browns sake I'll be making a few posts on a rap board lol
 
My outsiders perspective on the bet, Hues firing is 100% irrelevant (unless outwardly stated originally) and should have no bearing on the outcome of the agreed upon conditions.

Source: 100s of bets placed with fellow degens over the last ~decade.

You aren’t honoring the bet. You agreed to 6 wins means you lose. That’s the bet as agreed upon.

My 12 win prediction was the same as last year. Totally a running joke and has nothing whatsoever to do with it.

You need 0-3 to win. There’s no other way to see it, and everyone else sees it the same way. That’s THE bet. You don’t get to move the goal posts. You said 6 means you lose and nothing has changed since then, Mr Yellow.

Well, it kind of depends on the wording of the bet. If it was "we'll never win five games with Hue in charge," then yeah, I think the firing may be relevant.

But given that money isn't involved here and it's just some silly forum posting, I say just eat the loss and do it. It'll probably be fun.

The wording was crystal clear and had no stipulations on the bet. It was an over/under bet of 6 wins where I got 6 wins and up, he got 5 wins and down.

It’s a good song. Very catchy, good hook, good rhymes. If Yellow puts half of the effort that he’s used to sidestep his commitment, or any of the other various triple-downs he’s now known for, into his dissertation on the song’s status as one of the best hip hop tracks ever, then this has a lot of potential.

lol, ok man, I mean it's not a big deal to me either way. We both know I would have easily won the bet if Hue wasn't canned. 4 wins max. 12 was a joke.
 
Now I gotta step in and defend Orangy. If the O/U was 6, the Browns need to go 2-1 for Dagg to win. 6 wins is a push. The post he quoted essentially said as much.

I don’t even care about this bet, but thinking Hue would make it all season and win 4 or less was never happening.

That’s a piss-poor call. He was either getting fired midseason due to performance or staying all year because the team was doing well.

There was never a world that contained both him winning 3 games and staying all year.

Thus, I don’t understand how you can act like the rug was pulled out from under you.

If you are so confident in the Browns, surely you have no worries on losing the bet ok them going 1-2 in the last three. Or maybe you don’t have mucj confidence in them at all? I think they will win out, but maybe I am the optimist between us now. Or maybe you are scared? Natedogg we may need to call you Yellow Lab.

So what do you say? Let’s make it interesting. 2-1 you win, 1-2 I win? Or are you Yellow?
