Browns Adding to Game Day Experience

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I always have found this criticism pretty funny. Icons don't do that, performance dictates it. Seems "inferiority complexy."

Also, nothing says "I am hung like a mouse" like campaigning for the Korn verison of Brownie the Elf.

Agreed on performance, but I wouldn't campaign for any version of an elf as a logo. Personal preference I guess. I also think the Notre Dame leprechaun is a stupid logo.

I'm sorry, I meant that campaigning about that version of the elf in general. Not specifically towards you. I've been wanting to voice that opinion; didn't mean to throw it on you individually. :chuckle:

I’d love this version of the elf in a brown and white color as our primary logo. Very classic feel to it.

Fantastic. Also would like our jerseys returned to a primary Brown and white, with the orange helmets and white facemasks...

That new (or old I guess?) take on the elf is awful. Makes us look like a little bitch boy... although we do like that trait in our QBs.

Not directed towards you and I already know you don’t like the elf, but really what in the hell is better about a helmet? And I mean straight logo purposes.

Further along, what makes a letter or a logo like Arizona, Buffalo, Baltimore, or Miami’s better than our elf?

Please sway me if I’m wrong.

I think no logo is better than an elf because it’s unique, and because it’s a classic look that represents at least some connection to when we were good at football.

And on your last point, you’re not wrong at all. There are certainly other logos out there every bit as shitty as an elf. Personally, I haven’t seen a potential Browns logo that I like more than just not having one. If a good one came along, I’d probably be all for it. I just don’t see the need to have a logo for the sake of having one.

Unpopular opinion...but I think the elf is stupid.

It's an elf for God's sake. Basically a fairy. WTF

We don't need a logo on the helmet.

I could give a fuck about Susanne Summers dressing up as an elf and parading around the field to try and hype up the crowd. But as TT said.. graphics, main logo, apparel, etc.

If not an elf, we are the Dawg Pound..makes logical sense to look into a dog logo. Not saying I love any of these, but I would still take any of these over a helmet (EVEN THOUGH I STILL WANT TO LEAVE OUR HELMETS WITH NOTHING ON THEM!):

(not the soccer type crest, but a full dog instead of just a head is fine by me)

Go back to classic jerseys or incorporate an OKSU type gun metal grey, white, orange alternate and change the logo.

I'm all for incorporating a dog into a logo...I'm fine with the helmets the way they are with no logo, just wish they'd tweak the colors on the helmet to a matte orange finish. Jerseys are meh right now and I find myself only buying the white or orange ones.

Keebler elf is retarded too btw. Fuckin hate it.

Much bigger fan of the elf than a dog... much more history behind it.

THIS IS JUST MY OPINION, but I think the reason people don't want a logo on the helmet is because nothing that we can put on there actually would be decent. A cartoon dog or elf is just a terrible idea as a logo on a helmet. Writing the word "Browns" on the helmet would also look terrible. Putting the players "numbers" as they did a few times and back in the day is just not a good look that makes the entire uniform look even more amateurish and outdated.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I cringe whenever Browns social media refers to our fan base/stadium as The Dawg Pound, and I think it should be abandoned. The original Dawg Pound of the 80's was created organically from a winning team, mean defense, and rabid fans. Today's "Dawg Pound" is simply a forced marketing campaign.

That being said, I can't get behind the idea of a dog being our logo.

I hate the idea of the Dawg Pound. It doesn't exist in the stadium anymore, and it just seems like a desperate grasp at period of time where we were actually successful.

Need to move on and make a new team persona.

I'd prefer playing off of Myles' love of dinosaurs instead of the dawgs.

The Tar Pit!!!!

I love the idea of still having the Dawg Pound, but the execution of it in the new stadium has been horrendous.
