Cavaliers @ Hawks

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Ugly game and pretty poor effort from the Cavs until the 4th when it was too late.
Halfcourt D was alright but transition D was terrible tonight. When you have nights where shots aren't falling consistently it would be nice to have a decent system to fall back on a little rather than the standstill, bail us out LeBron, chuck and pray offense we see many times.

Z hasn't been playing that well lately. His shots aren't falling consistently and he seems out of it.

Good to see that Varejao's injury doesn't appear serious. Have to think he might only miss a couple of games.

Just an off night for the Cavs and those will happen.

at this point id rather have damon at pf ...he was guarding childress for some reason...

^The Lebron pick and roll at halfcourt stuff has to stop.

I don't know whether its Lebron who loves that play, or Mike B. has zero creativity but when the Hawks are sending 2 guys that far out near halfcourt to trap you HAVE to mix it up.

Against Toronto Lebron just went 1 on 1 without a screen from the top of they key. If you want to run the LBJ bail us out offense just run that! Why bring Drew out to set a weak ass pick so they can trap - our spacing is so bad all we end up with is a contested 3

Just way too late to start a run there. It should not take a 21 point deficit to motivate your team to start playing with some kind of effort. Lebron was pissed, but pissed just wasn't good enough tonight. Its only one loss, but it was a damn ugly loss.

At least Sasha had the courtesy to put up only 2 shots if he wasnt going to make any of them. He may also be leading the league in charges per 48 minutes.

Z has been in a funk for a few games now after a huge start to the season. He hasnt been able to get much time or much of anything run for him offensively.

You might be able to say the same about the entire team though, the set offense is fairly non-existent and this team has been relying on transition buckets and long jumpers for points, especially the starters.

This should bring everybody back down to earth. We are not a good team folks.

why is sasha even playing...He moves like he has a stick up his ass...Put Shannon in

There's those boobs. Awesome post bra.

Well.....just a flat performance. Sasha and Larry were ordinary, but not one person noted the three other guards matched them in that catergory. Drew and Z have been inneffective offensively of late. Shooting some poor numbers despite some good looks. Hard to know who to vote for tonight outside James.

do u have LeBrons running man dunk?

Ordinary for who, Jerry's kids?

What does it say about your starters when you don't want to see them in there at crunch time and if you can't count on them when the games on the line then why in the hell are they on the team?

I'm not sure if this was lost in translation Ben, but down here if you say something was ordinary, it means poor. I realise that isn't the true dictionary meaning, but often you'll here someone say "that was pretty ordinary" when describing poor play. Clear as mud hey :chuckles:
