CLEVELAND CAVALIERS’ NOTES

Cleveland needs to do a better job getting back on the offensive glass and shoot a higher percentage than last game (41%).

LeBron James needs to bounce back and have a better scoring game. He had 12 assists, so looking out for fellow teammates needs to continue but now it's about finishing.

NEW JERSEY NETS’ NOTES

Ride the Jason Kidd train. Kidd played wonderful in Game 3 and the Nets need more of that in Game 4.

The Nets need to have another game where they succesfully exploit their advantages at running the fastbreak like in Game 3 where they held a clear edge over Cleveland.

OVERVIEW

Cleveland must win this game or New Jersey will even out the series and gain the necessary confidence to win the series. Go Cavs!

· LeBron James has posted four consecutive double-doubles for the first time in his career (regular season and playoffs). He has averaged 26.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 9.5 assists per game in those games. He has dished out at least seven assists in all seven playoff games and ranks fourth in the playoffs in assists per game (8.7).

· Larry Hughes scored a team-high 23 points on Saturday night at New Jersey. It was his second-highest scoring output during the 2007 Playoffs (27 in Game 2 vs. Washington).

· The Cavaliers are a perfect 3-0 in series in which they have led 2-1 after three games. The three previous times were the Conference Semifinals in 1976 against Washington, the first round against New Jersey in 1992 and the first round against Washington in 2006.

· With a win tonight, Cleveland would tie its franchise record for road playoff wins in a season (three wins each in 1992 and 2006).

· Drew Gooden and Zydrunas Ilgauskas are tied for seventh in the NBA in field goal percentage (.532) while both rank in the top 10 in rebounds per game (Ilgauskas - eighth at 10.7 and Gooden – 10th at 10.3)

· LeBron James is currently averaging 26.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game during the playoffs. Oscar Robertson is the only player to average at least those numbers for an entire playoff year (Robertson did it three times from 1962-64).

I sure hope the Cavs come out with a little more intensity and heart this game. That way the series will be 3-1.

We can hope. I guess what we should really hope is that they got their partying in NY out of the way over the weekend and are ready to take care of business.

If we can just hit some shots and reclaim our dominance on the boards, we'll be okay. We need more touches and shots for Sasha, Z, and Drew and less for Hughes unless he is on. If he's not hitting, he should be distributing.

I hope LeBron shows up like he actually cares tonight.

Or if jason kidd doesnt shoot out of his mind from 3. Man that was pissing me off to a very high degree. He shoots 33% for his career but is damn near 60% against us. :thumbdown

There's a lot of NBA players (that don't wear a Cavs jersey) that would shoot that % from downtown if they were left as wide open as J-Kidd has been this series.

It's time for our defensive "stud" to quit using up his energy shooting so much and lock down on D.

We should dominate on the inside tonight...we won't.
We need to gang rebound...we won't.
We should take it to the hole more often...we won't.
We should cut to the hole more and stop shooting jumpers...we won't.
We should beat these guys...we won't.
Betting huge on the Nets.

lol.. So I'm not the only Cavs fan that doesn't have a ton of confidence and/or faith in my team...

Maximus, can you please give me a time frame as to when these feelings will go away, and I will feel confident in my team regardless of the scenario.. Such as: (Hostile road atmosphere, quality of opponent compared to us, effort etc..) ?

Having LeBron is just not enough for me...

This is Coach Brown's first opportunity in the playoffs to show us what adjustments he can make. New Jersey switched a few things up, which took us away from what we had been doing all month.

We were slow out of the box time out, something similiar tonight could lead to a blowout.

This team just doesn't have the veterans that can keep everyone composed. We don't have a Michael Finley, a gritty Bruce Bowen a guy who isn't worried about his stats..a tough battle tested veteran..I'd trade just about anyone not named LeBron, Sasha, and Daniel for a Michael Finley, a Jerry Stackhouse, a Bruce Bowen..something..we can't get by with these youthful mistakes..

The Cavaliers need to go out and get some strong veteran leadership, Lucious Harris and David Wesley aren't what we need..I hope Ferry realizes that this summer..

I wish we could just fastforward to the day when we trade Larry Hughes god is he worthless...he kills this team.

Well, I just checked into the Hilton Milwaukee and they don't have f***in TNT. Unreal.

Anyone got a link to audio, stream, or even live updates? This sucks.

We need to go at Nachbar down low. The guy should be abused.

Larry with the 3 ball and Kidd 0 for. I like it alot!

Lebron just seems real lazy on D tonight...moreso than usual.
