Cavaliers @ Raptors

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The usual. Opposing teams bring guys off the bench for career highs while the likes of Snow and Newble come in for us simply trying to not embarrass themselves completely. Unfortunately, it didn't work for Snow who recorded his first point blank, nobody around lay up whiff of the young season. It's painful to watch two non-bigs who are just completely untalented.

Anybody see Drew after the 1st?

Anybody know why Z was being ignored? Z in the post on Rasho sounds like a pretty decent option when confronted with what else the offense was resorting to.

Hurry back Lebron.

I couldn't figure out why they had Z running around 25 feet out setting picks....made no sense against the Raptors. He can't get rebounds out there either, it was just stupid. They should have tried to pound it inside and attack the basket.

A few Bovine thoughts:

Z can't get the ball if no one can make a pass inside to him or set up a play. If we had Jason Kidd, Z would average 19 a game without affecting LeBron's scoring

Sasha was the only one trying to create offense. But he's error prone. Gibson and DJ are spot up shooters, like Donyell. If we had Jason Kidd, Gibson would average 16 points a game without affecting Z or LeBron's scoring.

Are you sensing a pattern here?

Trade Hughes, Shannon, Newble. We have capable guards who can shoot. We need a PG. Period.

Moo

After the early part of the game the Cavs completely stopped attempting any type of postup game. It didn't make sense. A lot of firing up 20 foot jumpers.

Gibson was the only one who played well tonight. Good all around game for him.
Snow should only see very limited minutes. He looks worse out there than ever.

It's tough to blame Mike Brown for use of players and the bench tonight considering what he's been given to work with. Now is the time where doing nothing to improve the depth of the roster is coming back to bite the Cavs.

I couldn't agree more. The subs play hard but are completely outmatched.

We would never get equal value for Hughes. The problem w trading these guys is that they aren't attractive to other teams either! To get something of value we'd have to give up something of value.

However, I agree with your overall point about this team's need for a serviceable point guard.
