*Game Notes*

· The Cavaliers have won three straight games against San Antonio (regular season) which is the longest current winning streak against the Spurs of any team in the NBA. With a win tonight, Cleveland would post its first four-game winning streak against the Spurs since the Cavs ran off six straight wins over San Antonio from Dec. 2, 1986-Jan. 15, 1990.

· Over his last nine games against San Antonio, Zydrunas Ilgauskas has averaged 15.9 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. He has posted three double-doubles in those nine games.

· Cleveland has won eight of its last 10 games dating back to Dec. 25. During that span, Cleveland ranks tied for third in the NBA in wins.

· LeBron James posted a season-high 51 points to go along with eight rebounds and nine assists on Tuesday at Memphis. James became the first player since Rick Barry on March 25, 1978 to post at least those numbers in a game. It tied for the most points scored in the NBA this season (Iverson – 51 on Dec. 5 vs. LAL).

· The Cavaliers bench has averaged 39.0 points per game in their last four games. During that span (Jan. 8 – present), Cleveland ranks second in the NBA in bench points per game.

· Daniel Gibson has made at least one three-pointer in 24 consecutive games which gives him the second-longest streak in team history trailing only Mark Price who made a three-pointer in 34 straight games from Dec. 5, 1989-Feb. 17, 1990. On the season, Gibson ranks third in the NBA in three-pointers made (90) and percentage (.492).

· Anderson Varejao has averaged 8.9 points and 9.6 rebounds in 30.3 minutes per game over his last 12 games.

I realize this is talking about the regular season, but this just looks silly.

I would like to exploit the match-up at Center and continuously feed the ball to Z in light of the fact that Oberto seems to be suffering from shrunken head syndrome.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again. Why can't they say the game starts at "8:15" or whenever it actually starts instead of having us watch breaks and hear them talk.

Jeeeeez.

I'm glad its starts at 8.15 (or 12.15pm Friday for me) as I just got home!

Go Cavs!

I dropped 5 hundo on SA giving 7.

Great D and transition hoop by Larry.

We dont look bad, but the Spurs just sneak away.

Once again Coach doesn't trust Drew on Duncan. Z manning up on him.

I love that move from LeBron right there. Got to hit our freebies tonight.

I like that 2 man with Z. Duncan cannot commit to LeBron too much.

Not hating what I'm seeing. LeBron and Z look dangerous, but typically not much from the other support players. Defensively we are rotating ok.

We get one open shot, and SA calls a time out? Damn...

Not a bad start, I guess.. But we gotta hit our shots. Our guards are a total of 1-for-4(Hughes' layup)

LeBron will get going, but he wont do it alone. Bruce is gonna be on him all night.

Also, when is the last time we wore the wine jersey's? Seems like forever.

I know Bruce Bowen is good, but damn, hes so good James can't touch the basketball?

We should just call it quits now.
